Retailers face many built-in problems in day-to-day business such as theft, high turnover of employees and other administrative headaches, not to mention inventory control and customer profiling. InfoTouch is a touch screen product that requires virtually no expertise for accurate and efficient use by store personnel. The Value of InfoTouch Point of Sale Sales information is an essential asset that your Club Data InfoTouch system can gather as you record your daily transactions. By example, recording the employee will allow you to gather sales by employee, and/or timekeeping if you wish. InfoTouch is configurable to meet your needs. An employee can remain logged in for the entire day, or you can set the system to track which specific employee entered each transaction. Register Module The register module is highly customizable, designed to fit your specific business like a glove. Because it fits your individual club, your employees will find it intuitive, and extremely easy to use. Your business will benefit from your employees always using the accurate price for an item. Your customers will benefit from your having instant, accurate visibility of the inventory that you have on hand, be it the inventory that they can see on the shelf, or the inventory that you have in your back room. Sell by item number (sku), by descriptive information or by barcode scanner. Inventory lookup feature for fast and flexible scans of your inventory, even during a sale lets you select the item right out of lookup to sell it. Club Data InfoTouch not only is simple to use for the everyday basic sales, it is full featured allowing you to handle the exception cases within the system. Complete customer sales history capability shows who buys what, when, and at what price. Customer segmenting by combinations of up to sixteen user-definable categories. Hold and layaway sales managed easily with full audit tracking. Split tender transactions. Any number of tender types can be allowed. Employee punch clock capability built into the register. Special orders, inventory creation, customer account creation "on-thefly;" inventory transfers in/out for multiple store situations. Since each Club Data InfoTouch system is tailored to meet your club s needs, you can select the quantity of buttons that you need for a category. Additional buttons can be instantly available with the use of slide bars as in the illustration at the top of this page. Your Club Data InfoTouch system is designed to meet your needs today as well as the future. As you add or drop products, it is easy to maintain the individual item buttons. The key to the system is ease of use. The little things like being able to instantly enter the denomination of the bill that your customer gave you will ensure that each transaction is recorded quickly and accurately. Because you pre-established the selling prices for an item, you are assured that the correct price is charged for that item. Your Club Data InfoTouch system can be set to accept credit card sales, check sales, customer account/member account sales in addition to cash sales. Gift certificates and shop credits can easily be accommodated and tracked. Gift certificate sales and redemption can easily be processed and tracked. With the inventory look-up button, your employees have the ability to instantly look up the quantity of an item that you have in stock, and optionally where you (told the system that) you have it. The Inventory module allows you to quickly identify and manage your inventory. Features that you can elect to use include: Up to ten price levels per inventory item Global change capability. It is easy to change prices for ranges of items. Easy to adjust inventory quantities outside of the register. Maintains cost, profit type, gross profit, retail price, VAT, selling price, average cost, sales premiums, quantities on hand/on order/allocated, min/max/reorder quantities. Tracking capability for WTD, MTD, and YTD sales, costs, quantities and markdowns. Parts explosions and substitutions are easy to create and maintain. Serialized inventory. Inventory movement reports show what sells (and what doesn't) Physical inventory pick lists. Inventory order status to show understocks and suggest orders. Price label printing with or without barcodes. The maintenance screens are designed to allow you to quickly enter or update the information, allowing you to spend more time with your customers, and less time with system data entry. Depending on your preferences item numbers can be automatically assigned by the system or you can elect to assign them. InfoTouch provides full UPC code tracking for users with bar code scanners. Transaction Manager Module The Transaction Manager Module is used to perform the back-office tasks related to processing daily sales transactions. Unlike the Register module, whose transactions this module manages, the user interface is designed for a mouse and keyboard, and a touch screen isn t necessary. The Transaction Manager module has the following functions: Gift Certificates - create and manage Gift Certificates. Reason Codes - add, change, or remove the text on your Paid In, Paid Out, Return Sale, Post Void, or No Sale buttons. Closeouts - perform Closeouts for the Day, Week, Month, and Year. You can reprint previous Closeout Reports by date. Setup Closeout Reports - select the reports that will be printed during the various closeouts. Transaction Reports - select from 27 available reports. Delete Suspended Transactions - clear old Hold Sales and CWOs by date range. Information is very easy to get out of your InfoTouch system. For any given report, you may elect to: Display the information on your screen. Print the report. Export the information for use with Excel or another tool. Generating the reports is fast and easy. Some of the reports allow you to make selections such as a list of items, customers, departments, or dates. Frequently Asked Questions What hardware do I need? A minimal configuration includes the following: PC (newer Pentium with at least 256K RAM & enough ports to connect the printers & other devices Touch Monitor (CRT or LCD at least 15 to accommodate your buttons) Cash Drawer Receipt Printer Report printer Optional hardware can include: Bar code scanner Bar code printer Credit card processor Additional registers or back-office PCs What operating systems can I use? Windows 2000 Professional or Windows XP Professional. What about my dining room/ grill/snack bar? Many users have both their proshop and grill/dining room on their InfoTouch system. We can help you effectively design a system to accommodate your needs. Can I have multiple registers on my system? Yes. Most users have a main register, a second register(s) and/or a PC for back-office type work. Wireless networking may be a perfect option providing no-drilling installation and tremendous flexibility. Is training available? We offer 2 classes on InfoTouch. One for everyday users, and another for owners/administrators. Both classes can be taken over the Internet with a live instructor.
