3 introduction imgfave is a place to discover and share amazing images. the platform makes it easy to collect images and organize them into fun collections like humor, art, fashion, weddings and more. over 3 million unique users use imgfave on a monthly basis. 3 MM + unique users per month ImgFave Case Study,

4 challenges & goals ImgFave implemented several ad products on their site. One of these placements was a native unit powered by Taboola, located at the end of webpages targeted to desktop traffic. These Taboola units typically yield CPMs in the sub-onedollar range. However, ImgFave wanted to boost their CPMs without adding new ad units onto their pages. New ad units increase the latency of the site, reduce viewability, and clutter up the visual space on the page. Hence, ImgFave chose to preserve the user-experience of the site by limiting the number ad products on its pages. ImgFave also wanted to leverage the latest advancements in native and programmatic advertising to boost revenue from their existing end-of-post units. With more and more DSPs buying native units programmatically, Imgfave sought to enable a solution to keep their existing revenue from Taboola, while earning higher CPMs from additional demand partners. taboola placement ImgFave Case Study,

5 solution AdsNative, the Supply Side Platform for native formats, allowed ImgFave to re-use an existing native unit located below their featured content. These end-of-post placements, traditionally filled 100% by Taboola, were added into the AdsNative Exchange. Integration was quick and easy to implement. ImgFave simply added a JS tag produced by AdsNative into their page and moved Taboola s scripts into the AdsNative Demand Manager. AdsNative then conducted live auctions to find RTB (real-time-bidding) buyers, who were willing to pay more than what Taboola yielded for the same inventory on ImgFave. The system then prioritized the demand sources based on the results. Throughout the campaigns, analytics related to impressions from ads purchased via Taboola or the AdsNative Exchange, as well as revenue from all of the demand sources, were accessable from the AdsNative dashboard. The intuitive dashboard offered a one-stop-shop to manage the additional native demand sources, making reporting quick and seamless for the team at ImgFave. adsnative exchange placement ImgFave Case Study,
