A $50,000 donation for recruitment was secured during term on committee specifically for feed science student recruitment. Feed Science and Management student enrollment increased by 20% during term on committee, including increase in females and underrepresented minority enrollment by 50%. Department Committee for Undergraduate Program: Charged with the responsibility to review curriculum, edit course proposals, and oversee student learning objectives are met by key departmental courses and match College and University aims. Instituted potential curriculum changes to Feed Science & Management curriculum, responsible for program Annual Progress Report on Student Learning. Department Scholarship Committee: Coordinates the annual awarding of approximately $37,500 in scholarship funds to incoming and continuing students in Feed Science and Management. Increased scholarship awards by 10% during term on committee through active fundraising effort. Department Distinguished Lecture Series Committee: Selects, promotes, and hosts an elite distinguished candidate to present departmental lecture. Candidate s roles were to aid in committee selection process and create promotional material.
