Our updated learning area enables greater cohesiveness in the product demonstrations and facilitates interaction between the attendees and company educational representatives. Engage in informal discussions with key opinion leaders in electrophysiology and one-on-one demonstrations of the newest technology and equipment, presented by industry experts in a relaxed learning environment. The session closely aligns with the needs of our attendees through an intuitive format and flow based on educational topics and complementary didactic mini-courses. 7 Ilesto and Evia Cardiac Resynchronization Devices (CRT-D and CRT-P) Table # 18 State-of-the-art CRT-D and CRT-P devices with solutions to maximize resynchronization therapy in the situation of atrial arrhythmia, frequent PVCs and intrinsic AVD shift. Home Monitoring is the only remote monitoring system shown to extend the time between routine, scheduled in-office follow up visits for patients, and is proven to reduce the risk of stroke (COMPAS trial). Evia features our physiologic Closed Loop Stimulation technology, over 10 years longevity, A & V Capture Control, automatic pacing and sensing measurement and options to promote intrinsic rhythm with Intrinsic Optimization or Vp Suppression. The Entovis Family of pacemakers is currently in clinical trials to prove the safety of these devices and leads in the MRI setting. The ProMRI clinical trial is evaluating the Entovis dual- and singlechamber pacemaker systems, which include BIOTRONIK s current pacing leads, which are already approved in the U.S. The ultimate goal of the trial is to determine whether patients with these devices can safely undergo MRI scans (under predetermined conditions). This could, in turn, provide access to important scanning procedures that will meet the future medical needs of patients implanted with BIOTRONIK pacemakers. The first patient was implanted with the Entovis system on December 26, The ProMRI clinical trial is the first of several studies planned by BIOTRONIK to obtain safety and effectiveness data for its complete portfolio of CRM devices with MRI conditional labeling, which BIOTRONIK intends to submit to review for approval by the FDA. Participants will also learn how to perform a device follow-up including utilization of automatic capture, stored electrograms and AV search hysteresis. 8 ICD Therapy Participants will have an opportunity to learn how to program rhythm discrimination and optimize detection enhancements for ventricular and atrial arrhythmias. Participants will also learn how to perform a device follow-up, including reviewing device diagnostic capabilities, which enable better patient care. Heart Failure Therapy Participants will learn how to program a biventricular device to maximize a patient s Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy as well as how to perform AV optimization using SmartDelay. Participants will also learn how to perform a device follow-up, including how to utilize the different diagnostic tools to better manage heart failure patients. SICD S-ICD System Demonstrate creation of device pocket on a mannequin, tunneling of defibrillation lead and suturing. The demonstration will be followed by hands-on practice by guest attendees. LATITUDE Patient Management System LATITUDE Consult System (Not FDA Approved) Table # 10 The LATITUDE Consult System is used to read data from a patient s device. Once the data is read, the clinician uses the Communicator to send the data to the secure LATITUDE Consult server. The clinician then contacts Boston Scientific to request a review of the data and optionally obtain reports. LATITUDE NXT Remote Patient Management system LATITUDE NXT will demonstrate patient follow-up capabilities of this next generation remote monitoring system. LabSystem PRO EP Recording System LabSystem Pro EP Recording System is an open architecture, scalable electrophysiology recording system designed to provide the highest standard in signal quality while streamlining data management and workflow. Attendees will be able view a LifeVest Network demonstration and ask questions of company educators. The Hands-On station will include a LifeVest Network Simulator that will allow attendees to familiarize themselves with key features, tools and navigation of the system, including how to electronically order the LifeVest for their patients.
