2 Where it all began DownUnder GeoSolutions (Dugeo) was incorporated by its co-founders, Matthew Lamont and Troy Thompson, in Perth, Western Australia in December In the early days, Troy headed up the QI division while Matthew, following a gap he had identified in the market, focussed on developing a processing and imaging toolkit for small-scale processing. The team soon realised that the interpretation software tools commonly available on the market were cumbersome and out-dated. This led to the creation of Dugeo s unique suite of software, featuring a superior technical work-flow and enabling greater productivity. The DUG suite of software was initially developed for the rapid and accurate delivery of Dugeo s professional services. However, due to customer requests for direct access to these leading-edge tools, they were commercialised and made available to the market for purchase. The Dugeo service offering has rapidly expanded over the years and now spans across the entire exploration and production lifecycle.

Our unique, comprehensive workflow has proven time and time again to succeed in getting results for clients where others have failed. Illumination Studies High spec illumination studies. Handling all types of acquisition design, both land and marine. Both effective and total illumination can be modelled. Seismic Processing At DownUnder GeoSolutions we focus on producing accurately imaged and processed seismic data that is ready for input into amplitude and inversion studies. We have developed key technologies in coherent and incoherent noise removal, velocity model building, data regularisation, residual moveout and migration to meet this goal. We have a comprehensive processing toolkit (DUG PROC) which includes: DUG Broad - physics-based deghosting 5D interpolation/regularisation Different refraction statics packages including MASW Wavelet-based ground roll removal Inversion based linear noise removal: DUG LNR 3D True Azimuth SRME Wide azimuth processing tools DUG SWaMP: shallow water multiple prediction and removal Various noise removal programmes Comprehensive post migration workflows We process all types of data from land and marine through to OBC, from 2D to 3D and 4D. Our largest project to date was 16,000 sq km - a single tomography run over the whole area. Depth Imaging We utilise our own proprietary depth imaging toolkit designed and developed by our R&D group. The tools have far-reaching capabilities, having been developed to meet the requirements of the most demanding regions in the world. The highlights of the depth imaging toolkit include: Kirchhoff migration (all true relative amplitude): PreSTM or PoSTM - Isotropic or anisotropic (VTI) PreSDM or PoSDM - Isotropic or anisotropic (VTI, TTI or tilted orthorhombic) BeamM - Isotropic or anisotropic (VTI, TTI or tilted orthorhombic) RTM: Isotropic Anisotropic (VTI and TTI) Advanced noise removal Obliquity correction Reflection and refraction tomography: Parabolic, non parabolic picks or first breaks Smoothing constraints Supports lateral and depth variable pick weighting Pick confidence Multi-azimuth Anisotropic Complete control over what region of model to update, independent of pick distribution Unlimited model size Depth variable smoothing Picks can be volume or horizon based or combination of both Reweighting during optimisation so that outlying picks do not influence final results

4 All the services you need Petrophysics At DownUnder GeoSolutions we offer specialised petrophysical services for the evaluation of lithology, reservoir properties and fluid content. Our interpretation techniques are designed to integrate all relevant information including: Wireline and non-wireline logs Lithology descriptions Core analysis Petrographical studies and well test information to ensure that an appropriate interpretational model is implemented. All the wells are interpreted simultaneously and a consistent petrophysical model is generated. The petrophysical work feeds directly into our QI workflow, bringing together multiple disciplines in an integrated approach. Quantitative Interpretation The aim of quantitative interpretation (QI) is, through the use of amplitude analysis, to predict lithology and fluid content away from the well bore. This process should make use of all available data, assist in risk assessment, account for uncertainty and ultimately foster confidence in the predictions. Multi-client Studies All services are available as multi-client studies. Many studies are currently available and we are always interested in talking to clients about potential new studies from illumination and acquisition through inversion. Geostatistical Depth Conversion This flexible toolkit is designed to condition velocity data for the purpose of accurate depth conversion. The workflow is relevant for a single survey or for building regional, basin-wide models using numerous 2D and 3D surveys as input. The latter comprises a comprehensive workflow including the reconciliation of misties arising at both line intersections within individual 2D surveys and between overlapping surveys (both 2D and 3D). Geostatistical scaling is used to tie the available well control. This utilises well data and geophysically constrained statistics to derive a stable, geologically plausible background trend which accounts for the majority of error. The result is a consistent model that ties the available well control and provides reliable depth conversion away from wells. Our service covers: Constrained seismic attributes Rock physics Forward modelling Various inversion approaches and algorithms Probabilistic lithology and fluid prediction Before and after DUG Broad - our physics-based deghosting technology. 5 DUG Insight Software for the hardcore DUG Insight is our proprietary, full-featured, 2D / 3D / pre-stack visualisation and interpretation package. It includes all the necessary tools for a complete interpretation workflow, from reconnaissance to crossplotting - with a fully-integrated 3D canvas, and support for pre-stack data throughout. It is developed in-house by our R&D team. In addition to our hundreds of worldwide customers, DUG Insight is used every day by our own processing, petrophysics, quantitative interpretation and depth-imaging teams. That experience and feedback helps us produce a robust software suite that s both powerful and easy to use. DUG Insight has all the required tools and interpretation functionality you ll need to perform your standard workflows. Plus many specialised features that we believe will fundamentally change how you interpret and manipulate your data. Many add-on modules are available for DUG Insight, including: Explorationist Advanced visualisation and processing - including geological cross-sections, real-time stacking of gathers, attributes, velocity model building, and much more. Rock Specialist Intuitive and efficient tools for statistical rock physics model building and depth-dependent stochastic forwardmodelling. Quickly test any number of lithology and fluid combinations. Depth Imager Advanced RMO picking tools, reflection tomography, and Dugeo s Kirchhoff isotropic, VTI, and TTI anisotropic 2D and 3D migration. Gather Attributes Create intercept/gradient volumes, and perform AVA stack rotations (EEI equivalent). In DUG Insight, bodies are formed by applying an amplitude cutoff to the data, in this instance using Vp/Vs. Bodies can be connected by faces, vertices, or edges, and bodies smaller than a given volume are automatically discarded.
