2 About Pagero With Pagero's services, companies can automate business critical document interchange with all their business partners. By connecting ERP systems digitally with each other, our customers can automate their entire Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) value chains with their suppliers and customers achieving full end-to-end traceability, reduced turnaround times and significant cost savings. Our e-order- and e-invoice services are delivered in the cloud via our network Pagero Online. The services are ERP independent, globally deployable and independent of industry, transaction volume and company size, making them suitable for all types of businesses. Our cloud based solution ensures local VAT and archiving compliance on all the company s key markets, enabling a one vendor strategy for the company on a global level. We act as a trusted advisor to our customers, helping them to achieve constant process improvements and cost savings over time. Pagero has long provided multinationals such as Alstom, Volvo, Johnson & Johnson and Tetra Pak with e-invoicing, EDI and e-procurement services for local, European and/or global needs. 3 Legislation Finance and procurement department automation initiatives are becoming more and more common within large corporations in all industries. One of the most important drivers is local e-invoice legislation. Public administrations all over the world are introducing e-invoice legislation in order to increase efficiency, save costs and prevent fraud. Europe One of the major legislative changes in the world is about to happen in Europe. In a 2014 EU directive (2014/55/EU), it was specified that by 2018, all member states must ensure that their contracting authorities and bodies can receive and process electronic invoices. This EU directive has impacted the European market s invoicing standards dramatically and will continue to do so in the coming years. The PEPPOL infrastructure will be the dominant standard within the European Union as a series of member states (Norway, Austria, UK, Sweden, Denmark, Benelux, France and Ireland) have implemented or will implement it. Other major economies (Italy, Spain and Turkey to mention a few) have chosen to develop infrastructures of their own, making intercommunity operations for multinational enterprises even more complex. Our customers can rest assure that regardless of market and local legislation, they can use us as their only service provider internationally for all their supplier and customer automation initiatives. Our services are compliant with local VAT regulations both for issuing and archiving of documents. As part of our role as trusted adviser to our customers, we proactively follow local market legislation updates in order to ensure local compliance today and in the future. Other key markets: USA & Australia The United States has also, similar to Europe, decided to move towards electronic invoicing and procurement. Processing close to 20 million invoices yearly, the US federal government is the largest single purchaser of goods in the US. Today, approximately 40% of these invoices are electronic and the decision has been made to make all invoices electronic by A report commissioned by the Australian Tax Office recently concluded that switching over to electronic invoicing could save 80% from their current invoice costs, a saving of almost 3 billion dollars yearly. With over 500 different ERP systems active nationally and a current e-invoicing market adoption around 10%, the Australian government is following the European trends closely.
4 Value added services Pagero offers a large number of value added services that can be easily added to customize our core service to the needs of each individual company. We recommend that all our customers use the value added services below to be able to maximize their e-flow, regardless of the counterparts possibilities to process documents electronically and to ensure legal compliance of their transaction archive. 100% outbound e-flow with PDF invoice via and external print The invoices are created as usual in the financial or ERP system and sent to Pagero Online. Recipients who are able to receive invoices electronically will receive e-invoices directly via Pagero Online in their preferred format. Other invoices are automatically sent as PDF s to the recipients predefined accounts if these have been registered. Otherwise the invoices are printed, enveloped and posted to the recipients via our printing partner. 100% inbound e-flow with Pagero Data Capture All the company s invoices and order messages are received electronically to the ERP system via Pagero Online. Electronic documents are delivered to the ERP system directly from the issuer. Other invoices are sent by to Pagero that interprets and converts the information to electronic data and then delivers it. More information can be interpreted with Pagero Data Capture than with traditional OCR scanning solutions, since the information is interpreted on both header and row level. Access to all documents as long as needed with Pagero e-archive With Pagero s e-archive, invoices and order messages with appendixes processed in Pagero Online will be accessible and stored for as long as international laws and regulations require. All documents are stored in the same place, which eliminates the need to search for cross references in different systems to verify the authenticity of a transaction at a later stage. It is also easy to search for individual e-documents and to get an overview of the company s transaction history.
