3 Introduction An introduction to Fuma Internal view Inside shaftwall External view Outer corridor Fuma offers a discreet design that facilitates the ventilation of smoke from a fire. This is the first fully concealed Automatic Opening Vent (AOV) that matches minimalist aesthetics and functionality. 5 The Fuma AOV is supplied as an integral unit with a metal door and GEZE actuator. Most AOVs on the market are unsightly and detract from an interior. Having identified the requirement for a seamless solution, we knew a concealed frame was key. Fuma features 1 Concealed frame 2 Internal plasterboard shaftwall 6 As the Fuma AOV is made to your requirements, the 3 External plaster compound dimensions can vary widely, from 400 x 400mm to 900 x 2040mm. It is supplied on site fully hung, so 4 GEZE Actuator installation work on site is minimal. It simply needs to be fitted in the opening and linked to the BMS (Building 5 Concealed pivot hinge 3 Management System). 6 Powder coated metal door The quick release pivot hinge is fully concealed. Safety is a top priority, with superior actuator technology from 4 6 GEZE. To complement any interior, Fuma is provided powder coated to standard RAL colours, or with a textured finish to be painted in with the rest of the wall. 5 Fuma options Finishes The Fuma AOV is provided powder coated, or with a textured finish to be painted. Hinge detail The unique pivot system provides a simple, quick solution while remaining fully concealed. Doorset finishes Details Primed The AOV can be provided in a textured, powdercoated finish which allows it to be painted in with the rest of the wall. The top-centre is sprung loaded. Once installed, the hinge is fully concealed. Fire rating Pre-finished paint The AOV can be powder coated to any standard RAL colour to a 30% sheen as standard.
