PRODUCTS SYLENTMITE POUR N CRACK has been developed for easy use on small or large jobs from single block or rock cracking up to large demolition projects or quarries where a large team of workers can be coordinated to mix the product and fill a large quantity of drilled holes simultaneously. Its also just as easy for a single worker to use. SYLENTMITE POUR N CRACK is quick and easy to use and can be poured into vertical holes straight from the mixing bucket or into horizontal holes using a plastic filler tube. Horizontal holes will need to be plugged to avoid the mixture leaking out. Simply pour 1.5 liters of cold water into a bucket and gradually mix into this water one 5Kg bag of SYLENTMITE POUR N CRACK either by hand, wearing rubber gloves, or with a mixing paddle. Pour the mixture straight into the holes, filling them to the top. Cracks may start to appear after 3 to 4 hours. The cracks will propagate between the drilled holes producing a soundless, non toxic, non labor intensive solution to your quarrying or other rock breaking or demolition application. 6 P5 Which product is right for you? Depending on ambient temperature, we offer 4 types of product. TYPE 1 20 to 35 C (68 to 95 F) TYPE 2 10 to 25 C (50 to 77 F) TYPE 3 5 to 15 C (41 to 59 F) TYPE 4-8 to PRODUCTS 5 C (18 to 41 F) C It is possible to take more than one Type should your conditions require. 7 P6 DRILLING USER INSTRUCTIONS Drill holes in the Rock using an Air Hammer Drill, Rock Drill, Core Drill, or substitute. Holes should not be drilled more than 24 inches (600mm) apart Safety (For Reinforced Concrete no more than 8 inches (200mm) apart) Glasses Recommended Hole Diameter is 30mm - 60mm (1¼ - 2½ inches) Drill to between 80-90% of the rock depth to be broken. Clean out the holes using an Air-Line to remove excess dust & debris MIXING ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SAFETY GLASSES AND RUBBER GLOVES Pour 1.5 Liters of COLD water into a bucket, and gradually add One 5KG Bag of SYLENTMITE POUR N CRACK. Mix well either by hand (with Rubber Gloves), or using a paddle, until the powder is completely dissolved in the water. FILLING HOLES Within 5 to 10 minutes of mixing, pour the SYLENTMITE POUR N CRACK into the holes, filling to within 15mm (½ to 1 ) from the top - poke a stick or pole down the hole to ensure no air gaps are trapped within. Be sure to empty the bucket completely - DO NOT LEAVE THE SURPLUS MIXTURE IN THE BUCKET. CRACKING Measuring Container Depending on the ambient temperature and rock type, cracks may start to appear within 1-2 hours - total cracking completion should be reached after about 5 hours (sometimes up to 24 hours depending on the conditions). To prevent a Blow Out: 1> Follow the Temperature chart and be sure to choose the correct Type of Pour N Crack. 2> Use cold water (cooled with ice if needed) 3> Pour into the holes within 5-10 minutes of mixing, DO NOT allow product to remain in the bucket after mixing. BLOW OUT IMAGES Once a Blow Out occurs, it can repeat 3 or 4 times from the same hole - DO NOT go to the hole once a blow out has occurred.
