2 Trinseo Resins for Trinseo offers injection molding grade resins to a variety of industries. Our materials result in leading edge, specialty solutions for a wide range of applications ranging from food services & packaging to consumer electronics to LED lighting to medical devices. Grade Resins Following are the basic profiles of Trinseo resins available for injection molding. Whether an application calls for a balance of light diffusion with transparency for LED applications, specific food contact approvals for food service and packaging use, biocompatibility for medical packaging, or ignition resistance for consumer electronics we have the in-house expertise and technical resources to make it happen. See insert for specific products available. Trinseo is also able to customize materials to meet exact requirements. STYRON Polystyrene Resins Offering consistency, processability and performance, Trinseo s polystyrene resins can be rigid or foamed and can be customized to possess a number of variant attributes. Trinseo offers a complete line of polystyrene materials in Europe and Asia Pacific including General- Purpose Resins (GPPS) and High-Impact Resins (HIPS). CALIBRE Polycarbonate Resins Offering high impact strength, transparency, rigidity, dimensional stability, and exceptional performance at low and high temperatures, polycarbonate is the preferred material for many applications. Trinseo offers a wide range of melt flows and tints. The material can also be modified based on properties needed. MAGNUM ABS Resins Offering good chemical resistance, rigidity, impact resistance and low temperature toughness, the polymer is ideal for various applications. Trinseo ABS resins are produced in a continuous mass production process as opposed to an emulsion process yielding exceptional lot-to-lot consistency and a white base color that results in a cost efficient resin for self coloring. PULSE Engineering Resins PULSE Engineering Resins offer excellent heat resistance, superior impact strength (including low-temperature impact strength), and stiffness for moulded applications. Their excellent melt strength during thermoforming provides a wide processing window. TYRIL SAN Resins SAN Resins are made from the copolymerization of styrene and acrylonitrile monomers. Available under the TYRIL SAN Resins brand name, the material offers excellent chemical resistance, strength, hardness and dimensional stability and transparency. 1
