17 Selection of the harvesting site is crucial in the cost per ton In the best condition, the BioBaler can produce up to 45 bales per hour. However, several factor will affect the productivity, and finally the cost per dry tons of material (see next page)

19 Selection of the harvesting site is crucial However, the running cost of the BioBaler, might be offset, by the value of the bale produced, and when considering the net cost of the BioBaler (running cost less bale value generated), the operation might be less expensive than traditionnal clearing for example under power lines with foresty mulcher by example

24 Storage of bales After being harvested, the bales has the advantage that they can be tranported easily with conventionnal equipment, and stored in the field, or close to the site where they will be use for.

25 Bale are drying out naturally Several observation across the world validated the fact that biomass in a shape of a round bale produced by the Anderson BioBaler, will loose a lot of moisture content within 8 weeks during summer time. Those observation, some documented, some others not, noticed a decrease of the humidity from 55% at the harvesting time, down to 18-20% 8 weeks later.
