2 Roberto Tartaglia, born in Naples (Na) in 1986, he was graduated with honours in Civil Engineering (Msc LM 23) at the Engineering Faculty of the University of Naples Federico II, in 2013, with degree thesis entitled: La ridistribuzione dei momenti nei telai di acciaio con travi composte acciaio-calcestruzzo (ITA) The moment redistribution into steel frame by using steel-concrete beams (ENG) - supervisor: Prof. eng. Federico M. Mazzolani and dr. Beatrice Faggiano It was developed in the Framework of Erasmus/Socrates program in partnership with the University of Rennes (France) at the I.N.S.A. Institute; hosting professor: Jean M. Aribert. In 2010, he awarded his Bachelor s degree of Engineering (Bach) in Civil field at the same University, with degree thesis entitled: Misure di suzione su un terreno costipato parzialmente saturo (ITA), The suction measurement in the partial saturated constrained soil (ENG). In the same year, the Trinity English certification was obtained by the British Institute - level B.1. In 2009, he was co-professor at the Informatics Laboratory of the G. Filangieri Institute ISIS, in Frattamaggiore (Na), Italy, into the framework of the Percorsi Alternativi Sperimentali project (D.M. n.160 on the30/06/08). During the High school period, he was very active in voluntary work since his attending at the second year of the Sacro Cuore Salesiani College of Science (Secondary school focusing on Humanities, Science and Technical matters). In 2005/06 academic year the Scientific A level was obtained. Once finished the the course of one s studies in Naples, he immediately participated to different research activities in progress at the DiSt Institute in the field of Structural Engineering - Timber Structure theme, under Prof. F.M.Mazzolani supervision. In particular, the research in progress is concerned the ductile behavior of timber frame with steel links; this interesting topic was developed in collaboration with the University of Trento, teamwork: M. Andreoli, M. Piazza, R. Tomasi, R. Zandonini into the COST Action project FP 1101: REINFORCEMENT OF TIMBER STRUCTURES. Therefore, the present Curriculum Vitae is sub-divided in three main sections: Education and training; Academic activities; Personal Skilling.
