The principal focus of my research is the environmental stresses of field crops. My research interests focus on developing more stress tolerant crops for regional use especially under drought and heat conditions. Teaching experience: Teaching statistics to undergraduate and graduate students. Teaching crop production to undergraduate students. Teaching plant breeding to undergraduate students. Teaching cotton physiology and production to under and graduate students.
3 Training junior lab members in practical techniques to ensure competence and personal safety. Colorado State University, USA Key Research Skills: Research and practice in plant breeding in (DNA extraction, Molecular markers technique, Crossing and selfing in wheat, quantitative trait loci analysis, and field work). Research in wheat production and physiology in arid conditions under greenhouse and field conditions ( ). Experience in evaluating wheat quality characteristics ( ). Construct genetic maps and analyze quantitative trait loci data. University of Bologna, Italy: Research in plant breeding for drought tolerance traits in wheat including SSR and SNPs molecular markers, QTL Cartographer, MapMaker, Smart root analyzer, root architecture traits including (root angel number of seminal roots number of lateral root shoot/root ratio shoot and root biomass root length).
