1 Backgrounder Municipalities to receive funding for 103 infrastructure initiatives across Canada 103 new initiatives approved in 97 communities A new list of initiatives approved for 103 initiatives in communities across Canada through two new funding programs: the Municipalities for Climate Innovation Program (MCIP) and the Municipal Asset Management Program (MAMP). These programs are delivered by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities and funded by the Government of Canada. The following 103 projects in 97 communities have been approved for federal funding amounting to just over $6.8 million.
