3 introduction Labiotest developed a system for more comfort in indoor environment ensured by means of a wide-ranging biocide filtering air treatment and by touches enhancing the pleasure of it: Air Suite The stand alone, model, selfstanding and independent, is easy to set up. It was designed for environments deprived of a proper air conditioning system and constitutes an innovative solution to treat indoor air efficiently, as regards odors (osmogenic action), as well as mold, bacteria, mushrooms, algae (biological processing).

As an average, a person inhales air times a day, which means that breathing in a healthy environment helps leading a healthy life. However, what does clean air mean? It is that able to guarantee a suitable thermo hygrometric situation and, most of all, the absence of what might have a direct or indirect impact on human psychic and physical conditions: odors and pathogenic agents. In other words, this is all about high IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) standards. The demand for clean indoor environments is now subject to intensified outdoor pollution (due to nearby productive facilities, vehicular traffic etc ). It also resents when air recirculation increases in indoor environments for strategic reasons (energy saving) and/or when no primary air is readily available (public transports, airplanes, etc..). general norms Through the European action plan on environment and health , the European union set itself as a priority to improve air quality and establish new measures in order to fight the increase of diseases and syndromes due to a long length of time spent in confined environments where there are many people (SBS: sick building syndrome). This is the purpose our staff was pursuing when designing Air Suite. our technology Due to our twenty-year experience in the field of odorigenous emissions treatment and thanks to researches looking for solutions to deal with, and efficiently eliminate, causes of unhealthiness and pollution in confined environments, we offer an innovative system, certified and acknowledged by Research and Development Institutes, so as to ensure: Olfactometric conditioning of volumes up to 200 m 3 ; Demolition of pathogenic agents; Minimum impact; Easy set up and operation of simple modules; Simple replacement of filtering media and deodorant / fragrance supports; Minimum maintenance; High operational autonomy; Use of eco-compatible and biodegradable consumables; Availability of three types of surfaces. 5 VOC: 380 USAGE: 423 IP: C 22 RH Stand-alone system air suite stand alone This independent unit guarantees excellent results in all indoor environments with its innovative process including: - biocide filtering on media designed to stop and inhibit biological contamination; - olfactometric conditioning for the direct impact on air of neutralizing products absorbed and activated by solid media. A carefully choice can be made as regards the areas where to set up the device, in order to treat air volumes up to 200 m3 by means of a suction / treatment / release cycle, and deal with specific demands. The system components are the following: A. It is the result of a proportional and controlled release of specifically formulated products, transported by the air itself, thus inhibiting the olfactive information transmitted to the receiver, when in touch with odoriferous molecules. Together with important Italian Scientific Institutes, we carried out efficiency and process tests regarding odor abatement. The first one ( deodorant ) meant to demolish odor and the other one ( fragrance ) meant to give a specific olfactive touch to a given environment. solid deodorant supports ensure olfactive neutrality, by eliminating odors without introducing new ones into the environment. solid fragrance supports enrich all environments with olfactive touches, to help our sense of smell communicate emotions. It is possible to create personalized olfactive solutions, for a complete comfort and perfect wellness. These supports are set up inside the removable compartment on the system side, which operates as a contact room between the air and the product. According to the treated area volume and the intensity it was decided to reach, it is possible to modify times of exposure and release for the formulated deodorant / fragrance. biocide filtering Biocide filtering is meant as a combination of granular filtration (classical process) and biological load inactivation (innovative process) taking place without introducing additional systems that might be complex and are often harmful for health. The process is ensured by using a new patented biopolymer, that is: - readily available in nature; - biocompatible; - atoxic; - intrinsically able to prevent infections; - able to speed up the healing of wounds; Studies, experiments and research, carried out by means of avant-garde techniques, and together with important Research Institutes, companies and Italian universities led to results demonstrating a 100% effectiveness. However, places and environments that are particularly sensitive to indoor air quality, and where the Air Suite system may give the best results, are: - Boats, airplanes, trains, buses and subways; - Hospitals, clinics and medical care facilities; - Offices, meeting rooms and conference halls; - Waiting rooms, medical centers; - Restaurants, bars, cafes; - Thermal baths, wellness centers; - Swimming pools, gymnasiums; - Schools and kindergartens, and so forth possibility of extension The Air Suite stand alone system can be used as a single unit, but also as part of a network including more units coordinated by a control center.
