M O I S T U R E S E P A R A T O R Moisture Separator Cell With over 2,500,000 individual intersects in the Separator Cell s aluminum (or stainless) screening materials, BLC s cell is 95% efficient for droplets of 10 microns and up. Designed for applications where removal of excessive water, oil mist, fog or water-like fluent from an air stream is necessary, BLC s Moisture Separator is particularly useful in AHU systems where saturated air has condensed out, such as downstream of DX chilled water coils, steam or mist humidifiers. In BLC s unit, moisture is captured and separated by cells, channeled into a vertical system and collected in the integrated drain pan where convenient field fittings take the moisture away.
