1 GENERAL DESCRIPTION Kill Chart & Safety Data Sheet ARCO DISINFECTANT WIPES Bactipro Surface wipes are impregnated with a synergistic blend of bactericides, surfactants and alcohol. They provide an ideal way of sanitising where the use of a liquid is impractical. APPLICATION In order to improve the keeping quality of fresh foods, the need to sanitise food preparation surfaces or equipment during a production run is very important. BACTIPRO provides the ideal means to achieve this sanitisation with the minimum of disruption to production. One BACTIPRO wipe is normally sufficient to sanitise several square metres. If, however, the surfaces to be sanitised are heavily soiled, the area that can be sanitised is correspondingly smaller. The sanitising agents in BACTIPRO were found to be effective against a wide range of organisms. The following table of results has been produced from the findings of controlled, independent laboratory evaluations. 3 3. HAZARDOUS INFORMATION Inhalation Ingestion Skin Eyes Prolonged inhalation of impregnant in packed product should be avoided. May cause headache. The presentation of the product should reduce the risk of ingestion. Do not apply directly to the lips. At the concentration of the wipe there is no hazard in skin contact. Atrophic or hypersensitive reasons may experience a reaction. Causes irritation, redness and tearing. Wash eyes with water and continue for at least 15 minutes. If symptoms persist seek medical advice. 4. FIRST AID MEASURES First Aid - Eyes First Aid - Skin First Aid - Ingestion First Aid - Inhalation Immediately flood the eye with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes, holding the eye open. Obtain medical attention if soreness or redness persists. Wash skin with water. Wash out mouth with water DO NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical advice immediately and show this document. Remove from exposure. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Extinguishing Media Protective Equipment for Fire Use water spray, foam or dry chemical Fire fighters require the necessary fighting personal protective equipment for irritant chemicals. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Spillages Transfer into suitable containers for recovery or disposal. Finally flush area with plenty of water.

4 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling Storage DO NOT mix with other chemicals. DO NOT use near naked flames or sparking switchgear. Storage area should be: dry, well ventilated, out of direct sunlight.
