Founded in 1984, we are a privately held nationwide firm with corporate headquarters in Portsmouth, NH. 2 Company Policies and Terms Guarantee of Performance All NESC Contract/Temporary Employees assigned to the client are guaranteed to perform to client satisfaction. Our clients retain the option of requesting an immediate replacement should a performance issue arise during an assignment. Patents NESC guarantees patent protection to all clients. All our Contract/Temporary employees agree, prior to assignment commencement, that their work developments are the property of the customer. Regulations To offer optimum flexibility to our clients, all NESC contract/temporary personnel must adhere to the clients regulatory policies and practices during the effective period of an assignment as well as all NESC policies and procedures. Audit NESC maintains time cards and records for a period of 7 years. We guarantee the client, and any designated government agency, the right to audit applicable time cards. Taxes NESC strictly adheres to the regulations of all government agencies. All FICA, federal, state and local taxes are withheld in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Insurance NESC maintains superior insurance coverage. Our umbrella policy for Worker s Compensation and Employer s Liability is well in excess of industry norms. Please ask for details on our readily available declaration sheet. Straight Time Straight time billing rates are based on a work week of 8 hours per day, or 40 hours per week. Overtime Overtime billing rates apply to hours physically worked 40 hours per week or in excess of 8 hours per day, in accordance with the client s policies and applicable state/federal regulations. In the event of a holiday, overtime shall be deemed as hours physically worked in excess of 40 hours less the holiday, unless otherwise specified by the client. Invoicing Terms NESC invoices clients weekly for all services. NESC will provide time cards signed by an authorized client representative verifying the hours worked. NESC uses several checks and balances to ensure accurate billing. All time cards are cross-checked using computerized record system. Payment of invoice is due upon receipt. Customized Invoicing NESC s Information Technology Department is capable of generating both customized invoices and management reports. NESC can customize each invoice based upon individual billing requirements. Specialized purchase order numbers and segregation by department and/or job titles are just some of the many options our customized billing system can provide. 3 Recruiting Procedure Summary Applicant/Resume Procurement The NESC staff utilizes various personnel recruitment techniques to locate candidates locally, regionally and nationally. Our program includes recruiting through large regional trade shows, professional conferences and job fairs some of which are aimed at attracting potential employees with specific skills. We also sponsor our own local job fairs, advertise in local newspapers, take part in social networking, including Facebook and LinkedIn, and utilize online recruiting tools. We also contact area colleges, universities and technical schools to reach out to the future workforce. In addition, our company offers bonus payments to our employees who refer potential applicants to our employ. Screening Procedure Our applicant screening process begins with a thorough examination of the candidate s education and employment history. Then each potential applicant is pre-screened for relevant work experience and ability during a short phone interview. All interviewees are required to complete the application process as well as all state and federal statutory requirements. Then, each applicant receives a thorough in-person interview. Our interview process consists of both experiencedbased and behavioral questions. This helps us determine the skills of an applicant and allows evaluation flexibility, attitude, contentiousness, and professionalism. All pertinent technical and personal data is then integrated into our extensive CRM/ATS system. Applicant Tracking System NESC manages and operates one of the most extensive Applicant Tracking Systems in our industry. The structure and software development involved has been carefully tailored to meet the ever-changing demands of our clientele. As technology advances are made, NESC will continue to be at the forefront of this most important aspect of our industry. Assignment Our extensive database enables us to submit qualified candidates in a timely manner. Most placements commence within 48 hours of confirmation and many almost immediately. Employment Eligibility Verification NESC certifies that its hiring practices are in accordance with the regulations set forth by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of Value Added Screening Programs NESC offers a variety of background checks; including criminal, social security tracking, compliance screening, education verification, employment verification, professional licenses and certifications. Pre-employment criminal background screening and drug testing programs are available to all clients prior to placement and at a pass through cost. There are pre-employment tests. Competitive Rates: NESC always strives to quote competitive rates for our clients. Based on our experience within the staffing industry and active involvement with our client companies, industry professional associations, recruiting methods, and market analysis, we are able to determine fair and competitive local, regional, and national pay rates. Recruiting, interviewing, reviewing, and qualifying candidates to meet the needs of our clients is an integral step in assessing the variables involved in setting a pay rate. Variables include not only skills, but also experience and education. As an active member of local Chambers of Commerce, we look to keep pace with the latest industry trends and challenges. From Temporary assignments to Direct Placements, we have the skill, knowledge and resources to provide you with Staffing that Gets Results. TEMPORARY STAFFING NESC Staffing, Corp.(NESC) recruiters identify potential candidates within its extensive database, develop referral networks, utilize on-line search engines, and participate in job fairs to fill open job requirements for its clients. NESC staff actively engage to develop and improve the skill-sets of existing temporary associates which helps to ensure a constant stream of highly qualified candidates available for temporary and permanent placement. TEMPORARY TO HIRE The Temporary to Hire option gives the client an opportunity to observe a potential permanent employee while he or she is on a contract assignment at your company. This service enables the client to evaluate the temporary employee s skills within the client s work environment. In this manner, the client can see for themselves the employee s work ethic, job skills, and interpersonal relationship skills. It also enables the temporary employee the opportunity to evaluate the client company as well, to ensure that the company and its culture will be a good fit for them. After the temporary employee completes a pre-determined amount of hours while on NESC s payroll, the client may hire them with no placement fee. Prior to the completion of the pre-determined amount of hours, the fee will be pro-rated based on the number of hours worked. DIRECT PLACEMENT In addition to providing temporary placements, NESC Staffing, Corp. offers direct placement for its clients. By working closely with staffing management we are able to custom-match our candidates to the clients job requirements. We screen and submit only the most qualified candidates, saving you valuable time and resources in the recruiting and staffing process and giving you the quick, cost-effective coverage for your needs. We have the capacity to fill positions in much less time than comparable direct placement organizations and our fee structure for successful referrals is competitive. If employment is terminated within ninety (90) days of starting for any reason other than elimination of position, we offer two options: Replacement - NESC Staffing, Corp will provide a replacement at the same compensation level or lower for no additional charge. Refund Fees will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. The refund amount is calculated at one-ninetieth (1/90) of the fee multiplied by the number of days remaining in the guarantee period. All Direct Placement fees will be billed upon acceptance. Payment must be received within thirty (30) days of the candidate s start date to receive our guarantee. AMI Medical (01/17)
