3 Brand story/about us With rapidly changing work environments, the advent of technology to empower collaboration devoid of cultural and spatial boundaries and borders, an increase in skill based talent, freelancers, entrepreneurs and more SME's on the rise globally, there is a real need for a method of connecting with the right talent, irrespective of location, and a way to make transactions easier in exchange for these services. That's where Digiwage takes center stage - a platform to not only enable easier payments through a crypto-currency specifically designed for patrons and members but also to enable business owners to scour for and discover the right skill based talent for a mutually rewarding and satisfying experience on a professional and personal level. 1
4 Who we are / The Digiwage Story When we first began to learn more about block-chain technology, every aspect in the structure of block-chain amazed us! However, we quickly realised that for beginners, it was very hard to find relevant answers and resources for our development needs. As we moved forward through trial and error, it occurred to us that there is a need for a hub of developers wherein the right/most helpful answers could be exchanged for a token in this case, our crypto-currency, Digiwage.Thus, began a journey from the initial idea of Philscurrency to the now transformational platform, Digiwage. Digiwage is a decentralized workplace hub for developers, entrepreneurs, block-chain enthusiasts, startups and resources where each of them find solutions corresponding to their current projects or kick start new projects. Our crypto token Digiwage is used in exchange for different services. 2
5 Solving a problem In our world, the gap between a steadily increasing population and a shortage of natural resources to cater to this inevitable demand is rising. This had led to, and is now at a rapid pace, still creating new jobs with the requirement of skillsets of the 21st Century, such as global citizenship, collaboration, problem- solving, design thinking, unlearning & relearning, an entrepreneurial bent of mind, and so many other qualities. In order to rise above our current challenges and go beyond, we realised that it is imperative for platforms to exist that can connect people globally and encourage collaboration through exchange of knowledge and skills for currency. Only if people from across the world connected at a level where they are helping each other solve their problems, could they truly come together as one big community, which could eventually be an enabler for bigger things, like world peace. So, we created Digiwage. Digiwa ge. org 3
6 The block-chain & decentralization angle All you need is an idea! Scores of path-breaking innovative ideas never see the light of day, simply due to road blocks like regulations of different centralized authorities globally, a lack of funds, or insufficient knowledge and resources. Decentralization gives every user on the Digiwage platform more autonomy to make their own decisions through empowering them to make better use of their knowledge and experience. We ve got different categories where you can post your skills and connect with people who need your talent as resource for their corresponding projects. All transactions are validated in our discord channel, with free in-house escrow services. For example : Developers can post their accomplishments and experience. Post validation, simply answer development related questions in exchange for digiwages and incentives. Similarly, entrepreneurs, designers, and other skilled individuals can showcase their talent, create a value for their skills, work according to their own schedules and pace owing to the absence of a centralized authority. We re the one stop place to find global talent and resources as well as funding for new ideas. 4
7 What this means for entrepreneurs and freelancers Imagine a place where one can find amazing people to work with across various vocations and professions for roles ranging from web design, finance, writing, graphic design, art, marketing, coding and development, digital marketing and so much more for business in the 21st Century. The Digiwage platform is a talent pool that connects business to talent and vice versa, enabling new relationships and creating a mobile workplace that can be operated from wherever you are in the world. The decentralized workplace is our forum, with various categories corresponding to different topics. 9 Setting up Just sign into the workplace, choose your relevant category(ies) and you re good to go! For resources, browse through an organized library with various tags to connect with the right talent for your project, discuss requirements and work-related details, all within the hub forum. Once a developer and entrepreneur get connected, further validation about payment and transaction is carried out by a validation committee via our discord channel. Once the committee validates both parties, the in-house escrow committee will provide free escrow services and ensure product delivery, making transactions hassle free. Digiwa ge. org 7
