3 About Us: 1. Objective The objective of this proposal is to offer you a thorough description of the business opportunity you have, using the model we have successfully followed for several years. Our overall goals are to ensure that you, the buyer, are confident in owning and operating a profitable retail business. Mission Initially when launching Custom Teez LLC, we began with the idea of simply running a holiday operation. After a successful few months, we took our chances on a yearlong lease and within one year we were operating three separate locations in two states. After our initial holiday test-run, expansion has been our main goal. Ideas we have considered are selling the company as a whole, franchising and now, offering business opportunities. Unlike other business opportunities, we not only walk you through the start up we also will also physically/virtually (through video) visit your location, give input or suggestions through visual merchandising, as well as providing a period of additional support. As an entrepreneur, I understand the importance of support to success. Company Summary Custom Teez LLC is a company that began as an experiment. We quickly expanded and have continued to offer new services and products to our customers since inception. We believe that without our customers, we are

4 nothing and therefore are continuously looking to improvise and add variety to our offerings. Our product is proven. We believe profitability and growth goes hand in hand with exceptional customer service. Our goals as a company are to expand, in a way; we did not always know was possible. By offering a business opportunity, you as the owner have the freedom to control your own company, name, merchandise, avoid residual fees and essentially create your own career path. Defining Business Opportunity: Start Up: 2.1 Preparing for your initial opening The initial opening is the groundwork for success. Fortunately, there are systems in place to simplify tasks and speed up process. Before beginning any operations, obtaining the proper licensure and accounts are essential. Listed below are tasks to complete before contacting a mall to secure a location. 2.1A Setting up your business with the IRS and the State - Visit and selecting Information for: businesses. Here you can apply for your Tax ID or EIN(Employer Identification Number). The IRS will provide this to you within 10 days. Through your state you will register your company as either an LLC or Corporation. Compare the choices with your accountant or another individual familiar with the filings and processes. While tax laws vary from state to state, the IRS will list for you all required documentations, agencies to contact and forms to complete. You most likely will have to register with your states Department of Revenue as well as apply for a resale certificate in order to purchase merchandise tax free and collect state tax when reselling.

5 2.1B Opening bank and merchant accounts - Open a business bank and merchant account (if you chose to process through a merchant provider). Things to look for are low processing fees (the percentage paid per transaction), low, if any, equipment costs, support, discounts for multiple services (payroll, merchant services and checking account), availability and deposit options. Some banks are located inside of malls making deposits much easier; otherwise you must install some type of deposit box inside of the cart or supply employees with deposit cards to use an on-site ATM (if available). Be sure to set up payroll system with either a payroll company or service through your bank. 2.1C Selecting a location - The next step is to begin scouting malls. When selecting a mall, look for middle class malls. In other words, operating in the most exclusive mall available is not always the best idea. In malls that serve mainly to middle class, the rent tends to be much lower and cater more towards our clientele. -Look for anchor stores that are exclusive to that mall or exclusive to the area. Also, if there are no other malls close to the general area, inevitably traffic will be higher resulting in higher sales. Visit the site yourself or inquire through management if you will be the only tenant with this concept. Excelling and advertising custom work specifically, will set you and another printed apparel location apart. As will the display, merchandise and variety of. Update and change around your displays as frequent as every month, possibly less depending on specific events. - Speak with other operators regarding traffic, trends in sales and management; however do not rely solely on their input. - Visit and observe the area you will be located. Are there stores that bring people to the mall? Is there a specific side, floor or area that has a higher
