2 Overview HOC Consulting, established in 2008, offers a full range of services to clients focusing on the provision of accounting, management accounting, taxation and business model solutions to SMEs and MBEs. The company is a proud member - in good standing - of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA). HOC is founded on integrity, professionalism and service excellence. We embrace and maintain the professional standards and quality control expected as a member of SAIPA. Our staff members are Professional Accountants (SA) with various accounting, cost accounting and tax experience in different industries; enabling the company to cater for the changes in legislative and economic conditions, thus giving clients a competitive edge. Executive Team Our executive team offers the strategic direction and operational management of our practice areas and internal functions. 6 Services Bookkeeping We prepare monthly management accounts to assist our clients with their decision making process and cash flow management amongst other things. The objective of management accounts is to provide timely and key financial and statistical information required by managers of the business to make day to day and short-term decisions. Payroll We prepare monthly payslips for employees and IRP5s at the end of every year of assessment. We also submit monthly PAYE returns, bi-annual PAYE reconciliation to SARS and monthly UIF returns (UI19s) to the Dept of Labour on behalf of our clients. Tax We compile and submit all SARS returns for our clients, that is; VAT returns, Income Tax Returns for companies and individuals. BEE Verification and Training We offer BEE verification services in partnership with Express Verification Services (EVS), that is: EME certification (annual turnover less than R5million) Generic /QSE Certification Sector codes certification Beneficiary Analysis Detailed Suppliers Analysis Scenario Simulation BEE training Collation of documents

7 Asset Tracking & Management We assist public entities and municipalities to comply with GRAP requirements pertaining to asset management including updating of fixed assets registers. We also offer extensive bar coding, ensuring audited control and management of mobile and fixed assets, resulting in fully compliant clients fixed asset registers. Audit Readiness We assist the client in getting their accounting records ready for the annual audits and ensuring compliance with the applicable accounting standards and regulations and compiling annual financial statements ready for audits. Secretarial We register new companies, perform company amendments, SARS registrations and submission of Annual Returns to CIPC. Non-Profit Organisations We have developed a cloud-based monitoring and evaluation solution for Non-Profit Organisations. The solution is designed to ease the monthly reporting process and improve compliance obligations to Government and Private Funders or any other third party (

8 Corporate Social Investment HOC Consulting uses corporate social investment (CSI) as a mechanism to apply its resources to address the development needs of the country. Skills Development HOC Consulting, in its operations, ensures that enough emphasis is given to skills training and staff development, through the following initiatives: development of interns employment of unskilled young people for training purposes engagement and general staff development and education Registered with FASSET, HOC Consulting carries out all training in accordance with the Skills Development Plan. Entrepreneurship Our corporate social investment (CSI) initiaties are aligned with our core business and we do so through a focus on entrepreneurship. We assist entrepreneurs in the area of financial management. We also impart other business skills and knowledge to uncover entrepreneurship qualities. Non-Profit Organisations HOC Consulting collaborates with non-profit organisations (NPOs) in the areas of impact assessment reporting, good governance and compliance. Our solutions focus resources in developing NPOs, ensuring thier sustainability as they go about doing their work. HOC Consulting also encourages its employees to enrich their lives and become involved in their communities by offering support to charitable causes.
