3 From the CEO s Desk Dear friends, Customers & Colleagues, I am thrilled and honored to officially open Palram s 50 th Anniversary! Indeed, this is an exciting moment for us. Looking back to the days when it all began, it is hard to describe the mileage our company has made. It began with the hard working pioneers, who established a small new village, Kibbutz Ramat Yohanan, more than 80 years ago on a bare hill. They made a wasteland fruitful. Back in the early 1960 s they decided to invest in plastics, a futuristic field at that time; we can now view this as a brilliant decision. As the third generation is now taking hold of the management of the company, we can take great pride in what we have all achieved over the last 50 years. Palram is now a multinational company operating in nearly every country around the world, with turnover exceeding U.S. $ 300M. It is one of the leading players in the thermoplastic sheets market, setting an example for innovation in the outdoor pleasure and gardening markets. Palram keeps moving forward. Although the global economy continues to be volatile, our development plan is being carried out on schedule. The plan is designed to improve the quality of our service and take our product offering one step further. These efforts, which are now primarily focused on our Israeli operations, will strengthen our activities in all markets. We intend to mark our 50 th anniversary with several events, in which our employees, customers, suppliers and everyone who helped us along the way, will take part. 4 Palight Trimboard Offers Much More Palram Americas has recently reinforced its Palight Trimboard line of products. In contrast to past efforts to market under customer brands, the product is now marketed directly through building products distributors. Branded as Palight Trimboard, the product line has expanded to include the first-ever reversible wood grain/smooth product with sealed edges and 2-sided release film. Further new offerings include a line of ProFinish concealing profiles and mouldings for contractors who want to provide top quality finishing techniques, but also want to save time and installation labor. Palram Americas will be launching EconoTrim PVC Trimboard, which is made specifically for price-sensitive builders, contractors, or consumers who want to capture the many advantages of PVC trim in an economical product. In addition to expanding the product line, Palram Americas recently hired regional sales manager, Keith DeGroat, and an Inside Sales Coordinator, Joyce Smith, to handle increased customer volume. The company also recently re-vamped all of its Palight Trimboard marketing literature and developed a micro-site for the product line on the web. For additional details please visit The Rise of Palram Applications Roofing Kits Palram Applications, the consumer products subsidiary, has strengthened its hold of the roofing kits market in The Patio Cover product line, which has been selling well, is planned to expand in the coming market season to include new sizes, accessories, colors and more. The product kit lines are successfully sold in DIY chains in Western Europe, North America and Australia. The Palram Applications team has worked hand in hand with local Palram sales representatives to meet various commercial and technologic challenges, which resulted in an extensive improvement of the product offering.

5 Horse Race Sponsorship in Italy On August 31 st Palram cosponsored a horse racing event organized by Italian customer Geplast. On their way to the seating gallery, the visitors walked through a display of Palram products for the sign and graphics market, including illuminated signs and printed displays. Supporting Palram Customers in Iberia Cladding product manager Amir Slijper demonstrates application of an adhesive onto a PALOPAQUE sheet. Three customer seminars were held in October in the Iberian countries by experts from the Marketing Support department. A PALOPAQUE Wall Cladding seminar was held to support Palram s efforts for Spanish customer PalPlastic, as part of a strategic plan to enter the local cladding market. The participants were provided with general knowledge about Palram s offering for cladding and received hands-on training in installation of Palram s complete system. Two other seminars, focusing on roofing and rooflight solutions, were conducted for Stabilit (Spain) and Dagol (Portugal). The seminars emphasized the advantages of SUNTUF Rooflights and its proprietary production technology, including quick and unlimited profile matching, 120mm high corrugation crests, light diffusion and more.

6 PALIGHT Used in an Art Exhibition PALIGHT foamed PVC sheet was used in Posterz A Go Go, an urban art display that was held for two weeks during last September in Athens, Greece. The works of local contemporary artist Johnny Negri were directly printed onto Palram high quality substrates and were displayed across Bartesera, one of Athens trendiest bars. The foamed PVC sheet received much interest due to the high aesthetics of the display. SUNLITE Skylights Replace Glass in Croatia SUNLITE panels were used to replace old glass skylights as part of a renovation of an industrial plant in Zagreb, Croatia. The plant is owned by the KONČAR Group, an international producer of electric components for power generators, vehicles and more. Local Palram distributor Oktavian Plast supplied the skylights with matching aluminum profiles, along with support in specification and installation of the entire system. Over 5000 sqm of 16mm white opal panels were installed in the plant, a large old factory building that was renovated for its new operator. The SUNLITE panels were cut to size and delivered in a very short time, much to the customer s satisfaction.

7 Energy-Efficient SUNGLAZE Breeze Dome 1,200 sqm of SUNGLAZE 4mm panels were installed in an elliptic dome in a newly built shopping mall in Cartagena, Colombia. The panels Breeze tint reduces the cost and requirement for electric lighting and air-conditioning, ideally suiting a large skylight. Although the panels transmit 70% natural daylight, they reflects much of the Near Infrared radiation and therefore reduce heat-buildup in the structure. Palram distributor Cubiertas & Espacios reports that the Breeze panels match the environmentally friendly approach of the building. The result is a beatiful, energy-efficient skylight that admits plenty of natural light and yet maintains a cool atmosphere. Employee Spotlight on Tammy Micklus Position in Palram: Logistics Coordinator, Palram Americas Academic Background: Business Major Graduate Years at Palram: 5 History in Palram: For the past 5 years at Palram, I have been a Logistics Coordinator. Prior to Palram I worked at Accu-Sort Systems for 16 years in various roles. I also lead the Oracle database team there, which I assisted in the development of the system for several departments. With my past and present experience, it has helped me adapt with day to day tasks I deal with today. Scope of Activities: As logistics coordinator, I am the go between Sales / Shipping / Warehouse. Our inventory is checked prior to order entry; I notify the appropriate people if stock falls below minimum. I work with several positions within the department on cutting, producing and transferring material. As orders are processed, each one is issued a delivery paperwork that is used for shipment. Revisions and date maintenance are also done if ship dates are not met. Message to customers and co-workers: As many of you know, the balance between work and family can be very difficult. Each day brings new challenges, but I work with a great group of people in Logistics. There is always someone in the department offering to help and lend a hand if needed, and even if they can t help there is always someone there to brighten the day with a laugh or two. Hobbies: I have 2 children, ages 12½ and 9, so when I am not attending school functions like sports etc. I like to spend some time with my family and friends. I enjoy going to movies, reading and cooking. Once my children are older, I plan on going back to school to earn a degree in design.
