3 INTRODUCTION This bulletin contains replacement parts listings for your equipment. In most cases an illustration is used to identify the assembly, with each illustration is a parts list identifying serviceable parts. In some cases no illustration is available or required and just a parts list is shown. When a part name is indented, it means the serviceable item is a part of the item under which it is listed. The quantity of parts shown with these indented items are for the assembly only and not the entire machine. EXAMPLE: This item contains these items. Ref. 5 ORDERING PARTS We want to service your equipment promptly and accurately. Your observance of the instructions below will greatly aid us in giving you such parts service. When ordering parts be sure you supply the following: (A) Part Numbers, (B) Descriptions, (C) Quantities (D) Serial Numbers, (E) Shipping Instructions. (A) PART NUMBERS Compare part number found on the part with part number in the parts book, whenever possible. When part number is not available, give full description and where used. (B) DESCRIPTIONS Use Part Book descriptions in addition to part numbers. Most structural parts, such as framework, gussets, braces etc., are not listed. To order such parts, give size, shape (channel, angle, plate, etc.), and location, as related to units or groups identified in the parts book. (C) QUANTITIES Be specific. State exactly how many of each part are required. Avoid the use of words like sets or complete. (D) Identify your equipment by Serial Number whenever possible. (E) SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS Specify name, shipping point, and mail address for notification if different than shipping point. State whether freight, express, parcel post or other handling is desired. Confirm telephone orders in writing. INSPECTION Shortages or damage should be noted by the carrier agent at time material is accepted. Shipper s responsibility ceases upon delivery of shipment to carrier in good order. Claims for damage or loss can likely be collected with proper notation on delivery receipt. ORDER EARLY Make periodical inspections of equipment. Wear parts can be ordered by mail ahead of actual replacement time. Save on telephone expense and have material on hand when needed. page 1
