In fact, adapters are only needed about 10% of the time, much less than with other systems. Although a YokeMate LWS Universal Cable exists for most monitoring systems, and eliminates the need for adapters in most cases, we offer universal adapters to use when needed. In either case, spacing and lead sequence can be standardized across multiple monitoring systems. The Universal Yoke connection, the heart of this system, can be used with shielded and unshielded, disposable and reusable, radiolucent and pre-wired leadwire sets, including 3M Red Dot Pre-wired Electrodes.
