53 Limited Sink Warranty STAINLESS STEEL SINKS 16 GAUGE LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY 18 GAUGE WARRANTY FOR 10 YEARS Artisan warrants to the original owner that they will provide an equivalent sink (excluding labor for reinstallation and transportation) to replace any Artisan Stainless Steel sink that becomes defective provided that the sink has been solely for residential use and has not been damaged due to abuse, misuse, or negligence. To validate a warranty claim, the owner must be able to show that they are the original owner of our sink. Artisan has the right to inspect any sink reported to be defective prior to replacement of the sink. All decisions are final. Replacement of the sink does not include removal of the defective sink or installation of the replacement. Artisan shall not be liable in case of: Improper installation or modification of an Artisan sink Damages resulting from abuse including dents resulting from impact of dropped objects Damages resulting from improper care or maintenance Normal use including scuffs or scratches Improper use (such as exposure to corrosive chemicals or cleaning compounds) Commercial use Disclaimers. 54 ARTISAN COLLECTION The Fleur-de-lis Collection with LustreGarde finish is real metal and is considered to be a living finish. As the metal ages, it will take on its own natural look. To avoid damaging the finish and to protect the natural beauty, please follow these instructions carefully. Never use abrasive or citric acid cleaners (such as Ajax, Barkeepers Friend) or soft scrub cleaners and pads. Harsh chemicals may damage the finish. Mineral Oil or non-abrasive GoJo hand cleaner may be used to maintain oil rubbed appearance and minimize spotting. EXTRA fine steel wool along with GoJo hand cleaner may be used to remove Verdi (green patina) or to lighten antique finishes. Gently rub the sink until the finish is achieved, rinse, and buff with a soft cloth. It is not unusual for some tarnish to appear on cloth after cleaning. Treat your NEW Artisan sink like you would a new car and your finish will last a lifetime. ARTISAN Fleur-de-Lis Sink and Accessory Warranty Artisan extends through its partnership a lifetime guarantee that the LustreGarde metal will not delaminate from the substrate. When installed and cared for properly the LustreGarde will not chip, flake or peel under normal usage. Certain foods and acids may cause color changes in the finish and is not covered under the warranty. The Artisan Fleur-de-lis Sink Collection has the same aging qualities as real metal and needs to be cared for as such. EXCLUSIONS: Damage resulting from negligence, misuse and or accident during and after installation Defects resulting from any modification or improper usage/installation Changes or damages to the finish DAMAGES AND CLAIMS: All damages should be reported within 5 days after receipt of the product failure will constitute acceptance and a waiver for all future claims. Artisan will at its own discretion replace or repair damage or defective merchandise within a reasonable period. Any claims for damages or lost shipments in transit should be filed with the carrier and not Artisan. All packaging must be saved and noted on carrier s paperwork when signing. All claims for labor, shipping cost incidental or consequential damages will not be accepted. Fleur-de-lis INSTALLATION: All sinks are to be installed with the supplied Artisan brackets supplied as per normal sink installations. Plaques: It is recommended that all Plaques are stored flat until ready for installation. If warping occurs lay flat on a warm surface and it will flatten. For inserts only, use a high-grade thin set mortar such as Laticrete 254 Platinum. For Overlays use a 2 part epoxy then run a clear bead of silicone around outside edge to keep moisture out. For Plaques use a product such as SikaBond Constructive Adhesive along with a quick set epoxy on the corners to hold until the adhesive sets. NOTE: You must allow the adhesive to dry (5-7 days), then run a clear bead of silicone around the outside edges to keep moisture out. Plaques may also be drilled in back and attached to substrate for added hold along with the adhesive.

56 Cleaning Instructions STAINLESS STEEL SINKS Artisan Stainless Steel Sinks are made from high-quality 16-gauge, 304 Stainless Steel. Its heavy duty 16-gauge material is extremely durable and rust-free. Artisan s state-of-the-art manufacturing offers you a premium brushed metal finish that is easy to keep as clean and as new as the day you purchased it. Simply follow these Easy-Care Instructions. General Care and Cleaning: You should rinse, wash with soap and clean water, and thoroughly dry your sink after each use. AVOID: Using any abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scrub pads since they will dull and tarnish the finish. Course abrasive powders, metallic scourers such as steel wool or brushes with metal bristles. Silver cleaner. Leaving wet sponges, cloths, cleaning pads, rubber mats, or dishpans in the sink. Leaving standing solutions of chlorine bleach and water in the sink for extended periods of time; always rinse the sink after using such solution. Allowing liquid soap or other cleansers to dry on the surface of the sink. Suggestions to remove scratches in your stainless steel sink: If light scratches occur, they can be softened by using an abrasive pad such as a Scotch Brite, and Artisan Brand Stainless Cleaner. Follow these simple steps: 1. Sprinkle Artisan Brand Stainless Cleaner on a thoroughly wet cloth or pad. 2. Rub the surface gently using long uniform strokes in the same direction as the current polishing lines. 3. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. 4. Wipe dry to prevent water spots. Note: This will not eliminate deep scratches but will definitely improve the scratched surface considerably. Suggestions to remove rust marks: If you develop rust marks due to presence of or contact with ferrous (iron containing) materials, prepare a solution of (10-15%) nitric acid (HN0 3 ), wet a sponge with the solution, swab sink, and follow with routine cleaning. Avoid prolonged contact of ferrous (i.e., cast iron pans) materials with stainless steel. Not using the proper recommended cleaning products will void the warranty. Complies with ASME A /14

Plumbers are very careful when they install faucets. Typically, they flush the pipes before completing the installation. But during the first few days of usage, solder particles, copper chips, and other installation materials or small amount of construction debris may get caught in faucet aerators. The following tips will help you avoid problems. Artisan faucets have been carefully manufactured to the strictest quality standards. To keep their lasting beauty, it will require a certain amount of care to preserve their lustrous finish. You should always clean faucet finish with a mild liquid soap, promptly rinse with warm water, and dry with a clean soft cloth. Regular and routine cleaning will reduce the need for any actual extensive cleaning. We recommend that you take the time to dry your faucet often. Following this cleaning process from time to time can prevent soap and water deposits. Simply remove the aerator and black sealing gasket, Turn hot and cold faucet handle(s) to full ON position and flush the pipelines for about 2 minutes. Turn water OFF and Replace the black sealing gasket and aerator. This maintenance should be done from time to time especially if you have well water as calcium can build up. CAUTION: Never use vinegar, abrasive cleaners or waxes, chemical cleaners, alcohol, cleaning agents containing acids, polish abrasives, or harsh cleaners for cleaning as they may damage the finish of the faucet. 58 Cleaning Instructions COPPER KITCHEN & VESSEL SINKS Artisan handcrafted Copper Sinks are designer-inspired. Each sink is one-of-kind, presenting traditional period styling with its own unique, naturally beautiful finish. The brushed metal finish is easy to keep clean and will always be distinctively beautiful as long as you follow these Easy-Care Instructions. Copper develops its own rich warm patina as it is used and ages. You ll notice the rich reddish color varies from sink to sink and may, in fact, present dark spots or streaks due to the nature of the sink and the finish. The Artisan sink has been designed to bring out this beauty. General Care and Cleaning: Care is simple and easy. Under normal use, copper will develop its own warm and rich patina. To preserve that look, use only a gentle mild soap and water to clean the surface. No other cleaners are needed. If a bright shiny new Copper look is desired, use non-abrasive copper cleaners and follow directions carefully. Whichever look you desire, it is important to keep the copper sink basin and drain dry to avoid water spotting or pitting. Wipe the basin periodically with a soft dry cloth. To maintain luster and improve water runoff, use Renaissance Wax or a similar product. Cleansers or Corrosive Substances: NEVER use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals on an Artisan sink. They will scratch the surface and finish of your sink. NEVER use chlorine bleach or cleansers, concentrated vinegar, abrasive cleaners, or any other harsh chemicals since these may damage the sink finish. Acidic Foods: NEVER leave acidic foods such as oranges or lemons, tomatoes, tea, etc. on your sink. If you do, you may experience shiny spots. If spotting does occur, we recommend cleaning the sink with soap and water and then waiting for the finish to recover to its natural patina. As the sink ages, the spots will blend with the surrounding areas, returning the finish to the rich natural patina you love.
