FLUX CORED WIRES Flux Cored wires are beneficial because of low spattering, excellent slag removal and smooth weld bead. Flux cored wire has a far higher deposition rate than a covered electrode and has a little higher rate than that of solid wire. We stock a large variety of KOBE brand products. The slag made from coating flux protects it from atmosphere and ensures sound penetration beads with good bead appearance.
