The reason why so little is ever done, is generally because so little is attempted. The great thing is the start. See an opportunity and pursue it. Even though in the beginning, you re not totally sure of all the answers to your questions. Taking the first step and taking a chance. Is what people fear most. Don t wait to overcome all your possible objections If you can get up the courage to begin, before you start, or nothing will ever be attempted. You have the courage to succeed.

7 POSSIBLE TAX DEDUCTIONS FOR YOUR YTB BUSINESS 1. CAR cents per mile/ 12,000 miles per year equals $6,780, and additional tolls. 2. VACATION/TRAVEL - Other businesses can only write off 50% of their Travel because it s incidental to their business. Travel is your business so 100% write offs. 3. HOME OFFICE - Your business is in your home therefore a portion of your Mortgage/Rent, light, gas, & utilities. 4. CHILDREN Hire your Children. Kids between the ages of 7 18 can be paid $5,350 per year. That s $5,350 per child; per year will be a write off for your business because they can be an employee of your business. 5. COMPUTER Home Computer, Laptop, Printer, DVD Player, T.V., Shredder. 6. OFFICE FURNITURE - Desk, Chair, File Cabinet, any Business Equipment/Furniture. 7. OFFICE SUPPLIES Printing paper, Ink, Pens, Pencils, Receipts, Books, etc. 8. CELL PHONES Put your cell phone number on your business cards & use calls to conduct business. 9. EDUCATION Any Class/Certification you have to take to further your education. 10. INTERNET SERVICE You need internet connection for your business. 11. FOOD Business Lunch/Dinner. Get Costco or BJ s Business Card and a portion of your food you buy is a write-off (Travel Parties & Grand Openings) 12. CABLE Bill because of 2 channels... The Travel & Weather which are necessary to provide current information to clients. The Tax system was created for two different people (not the rich and the poor) but for the Employee and Business owner. If you do not own a business with the intent to make a profit, you have none of the above. **These are just a few of the many write-offs you may qualify for. There are actually over 147 different write-offs that can enable you to save anywhere from $3,000 to $15,000 on your Taxes each and every year. Those who don t know this are the VERY UNFORTUNATE ONES. Use a Day Planner to keep a record of all your business activity. Save your receipts, bank & credit card statements. You must work your business consistently & regularly (500 hours per year or 10 hours per week). **Always talk to a tax professional regarding your specific situation. 9 Have A Grand Opening Party to promote your business to family/friends and show them how to save money on their travel Schedule your Grand Open Over invite (if you want 10, invite 30) Always invited via phone, then use emai, text, evit, as a reminder Play vacation type music Serve light refreshments (chips, dip, water, etc.) Focus on presentation instead of food Have a TV set up that can be seen by everyone during the presentation Promote a give- away to get people there on time (restaurant.com certificate from your Zamzuu store on your travel site) Have applications available The person hosting the grand opening/travel party should welcome guests Start no later than 30 minutes after the scheduled time When new RTA s join that day, schedule their grand opening immediately
10 How To Give An Effective Presentation _+ Before the presentation Arrive 30 minutes early Have host give each guest a travel survey to fill out and return them back to the presenter before the presentation starts (with enough time for him/her to read them over). By doing so the presenter will have a better idea what each guest is about; the business, travel or both. Designate a person in advance to introduce you Prepare a 3 x 5 card with you script for the designated person to say - have them read it ahead of your presentation to make sure they understand it. Business casual attire (no jeans, sweats, or distracting clothing) Make sure you have all equipment set up and test BEFORE you start Have your slide presentation, videos, etc ready Welcome (3-5 minutes) Thank everyone for coming Have a designated person introduce and edify speakers Presentation (25-30 minutes) Remember to edify person who introduces you and give guests eye contact/smile Start presentation by asking If money and time were not an issue, what would be their dream vacation. Share your dream vacation also The Close (3-5 minutes) - use the content from the slides Don t try to repeat the same information someone else has already shared with the guests. Don t try to tell any more stories Have all GUESTS raise their hands if this business makes sense. Have the designated person hand out applications to all raised hands Now say: If you raised your hand and this business makes sense, become a licensed agent today and we will say congratulations to each of our new CEO s. 11 Your Grand Opening continued How To Invite to a Grand Opening 1. Set up a time for your sponsor or Power Team Leader to come to your house to host a travel party. 2. Start calling friends, family, neighbors & co-workers and invited them out to your home on the Predetermined date. The invitation can also be mailed. 3. Invited 30 minutes before start time-as most people are usually late. 4. Tell them to bring friends with them. (this increase your chances of showing this to more people). 5. Tell them they will receive a free restaurant gift certificate just for coming. 6. Follow up the day before your event to those who RSVP d (1) to remind them of the event on the next day & (2) ask each one to bring one of the following: bag of ice, coke, chips/dip, plates to have them more committed. Script for Inviting to Grand Opening Hi, I can t talk long but I wanted to tell you that I ve started my very own business and you are invited to my Grand Opening on (date) at (time). I m so excited and I m looking forward to seeing you there. My address is:. (If they try to get more information by asking questions, get off the phone ASAP by saying listen I have lots of calls to make, you ll get all your questions answered when you come, see you there. NOTE: Who ever doesn t make it to your 1st grand opening/travel party, schedule a personal test drive of the Website with them and invited them to the next one. Keep scheduling grand openings and test drives until everyone has been exposed to your business.

If you knew you could make an extra $1,000 per month, working from home, would you be interested? When you travel do you pay wholesale or retail? If you knew you could travel at wholesale prices, would you be interested in learning how? If the right opportunity came along and it made perfect sense to you, would you be interested in improving your income? If the right opportunity came along and it made perfect sense to you, would you be interested in improving your income? Let me ask you a question. Answer honestly. If you knew with 100% certainty that you could retire in 5 years, making $20,000 per month, is this something you would like to know about? If I can show you a way to earn an Extra $5k-$15k Extra per year, would you give me an hour of your time? (This approach will highlight their Potential Tax Savings). (Use this phrase for a High Income Executive). I ve run across something that you might want to know about. Are you open to earning additional income part time from home? If you knew you could earn and extra 2-5k per month and it didn t interfere with your current schedule, is this something you would like to know about?
17 THE LAND MINES 1. Resist the urge to say too much (Focus on sending them to: 60secondmba.com/youruserid ) 2. Resist the urge to pre-juice and pre-qualify. (The people you least expect will surprise you) 3. Resist the urge to go solo. (Use support team & tools: you re in Business for yourself, NOT by yourself) 4. Resist the urge to skip a meeting when you do not have a guest (You may get inspired. You learn EVERY TIME you go) 5. Resist the urger to skip training because you already know everything. (Keep learning. Become a student of the business) 6. Resist the urge to be too technical and professional. (Don t wait for things to be perfect, they never are) 7. Resist the urge to know everything before you get started (Here, you can earn as you learn, get out of your own way) 8. Watch out for Rut Riders (People doing the same old thing & want you to keep on doing the same old thing too) 9. Watch out for Dream Stealers (AVOID listening to negative and broke people) 10. Don t wait until you have all of the names on your prospect list (Get with your sponsor or Power Team Leader & discuss the names on your list now)
