SMARTER (specific, measurable, actionable, realistic, time bound, extending, rewarding) Goal: Step 2: Change your mindset. a. Use positive language. b. Learn to tactfully say no. c. Delegate tasks. d. Hire experts to handle things not in your strength zone. e. Purge tasks, things, and people that don t add value to your life. f. Use idle time productively. g. Schedule downtime and self-care. h. Focus on your blessings rather than your problems. a. What required skills are you already good to help you accomplish your goals? b. What do you need to do to get better? Step 5: Be disciplined. a. Recognize and redirect self-sabotaging behaviors (procrastination, distraction, brain clutter).
