Solar microfit Program
Green Energy Act 2009 The act aims to expand Ontario s renewable energy production and create clean-energy jobs by: Creating a feed-in-tariff program that guarantees rates for energy generated from renewable sources such as SOLAR. Establishing the right to connect to the electricity grid for all renewable energy projects including small energy generators such as homes. Put into place a One-Stop streamlined approvals process for smallscale energy projects that meet regulatory requirements.
Ontario Power Authority Focused on Energy Efficiency of Ontario Homes and businesses. The OPA microfit program launched in Our Team of dedicated people working to provide the best service in the industry. Industry leading program. 100% Canadian with multiple offices across Ontario.

How Grid Connect Solar Works
7 Easy Steps Free Solar is Simple 1) Solar panels are installed on your roof at No Cost to the Property Owner. 2) The sun hits the panels generating power, this clean energy is transmitted to Ontario s power grid and helps power the province. 3) The Property Owner Benefits $30,00.00 Guaranteed by Contract, 4) The more clean energy we produce, the more we reduce our need for dirty energy like coal, which produces greenhouse gas emissions. 5) Ontario gets clean, green energy and a bright future and when you generate electricity from your solar rooftop panels you earn a fair return on your investment. 6) Title to the Solar Equipment is transferred to the Property Owner at the end of OPA term. 7) Property owner Benefits Free Electricity for another 20 Years.

Over 100,000 Applicants microfit program overview If you are developing a small renewable energy project, the microfit Program provides a streamline way for you to connect your project and receive payment for the electricity you produce and send to the province s electricity distribution system (i.e., the grid ). There have been over 100,000 applications submitted since the start of the program. Project Participants eligible for the microfit program will receive: a long term contract for the payment of electricity produced from the renewable energy project a fixed price for the full term of the contract. Earn a minimum Benefit of $30,000 Guaranteed by Contract
