3 HR E Here s Why HIGHLIGHTS Rigidity and Strength The unique 6-sided box frame design with two sets of 4 inch diameter horizontally positioned guide tubes provides maximum rigidity and strength to ensure zero flexing even at the widest paving width. Sloping Extensions A rigid sloping base design allows each end of the extension screed base to slope independently for maximum alignment with the main screed resulting in a more consistent and smoother mat. Electric Screed Heating The time required for the screed to reach operating temperature is short due to the intelligent generator Management System. With paver functions set to automatic, the generator Management System activates the screed heating, a feature which minimizes wear on the engine and reduces fuel consumption. 4-Point Extension Adjustment The 4-point adjustment on the extension screed base ensures easy alignment of the extension screed base with the main screed. This concept is also used to adjust the extension s independent angle of attack. Pre-Strike Off The exclusive pre-strike off positioned in front of the extensions provides a consistent rolling head of material required for uniform mat texture, density and smoothness. extensions are easily retracted and extended due to the curved design of the mold board. Vertical Adjustment Vertical adjust supports are designed into the extensions providing strength and rigidity to withstand all paving forces.
