This topology uses Linux for the server operating system The CLM Jazz applications and DB2 service are deployed on a single server and WAS instance Open LDAP provides the user identity management Sized for small groups of up to a maximum of 50 unique users Added cost items include: Configuration Management in DNG and RQM IPSEC site-to-site VPN connection (Provide secure access to resources and reliable connectivity) Use of customer LDAP for user authentication 6

7 Enterprise Service Architecture: Over 100 Authorized users over 50 Concurrent users The architecture uses a proven golden topology based on DB2 and WebSphere This enterprise topology uses Linux for the server operating systems DB2 is used for the databases and is hosted on a separate server The CE and Jazz applications are distributed across separate servers and WAS instances A reverse proxy is used to ensure public URI stability IPSEC site-to-site VPN connection 7

12 End of subscription At subscription, data migration can be provided as managed services via a separate services contract Upon subscription expiration or termination, customers have 3 options: 1. Migrate their project data to an existing SoftLayer infrastructure working directly with IBM SoftLayer for Cloud hosting 2. Receive a backup copy of the latest version of the backup data for either archive purposes or for an on premise installation. IBM can assist with data migration to on premise via a separate services contract 3. Data destroyed in a secure fashion 12

14 Bridge to Cloud (B2C) Benefits 1. IBM helps to migrate existing data from on-prem to cloud 2. Dual use without dual payment of OnPrem & SaaS for duration of B2C (1-3 years) 3. No penalty S&S reinstatement whether continuing on SaaS or going back On- Prem,or continue to leverage a hybrid strategy 4. Future Year Price Protection for duration of subscription.

15 Users Per Month (UPM) Authorized or Concurrent IBM SaaS provides a flexible subscription options: Concurrent: allows multiple users to share a pool of subscriptions. SaaS usage in this model is measured by the highest number of active users accessing the subscribed during the month. Authorized - SaaS usage in this model is measured by the greatest number of users who log on to the service during the calendar month. If the customer goes over their subscribed users they are charged an overage.
