8 OPTIMIZATION TOOLS SCOPEQ is a tool developed by TMC designed to model component and equipment failure and repair behavior based on actual maintenance field data. Equipment shutdown and downtime field data is processed with this tool in order to generate the corresponding reliability and maintainability functions. This is essential information in the modeling and simulation process associated with overall capital project value assurance and enhancement. RAMSIM Configurations is a simulation tool developed by TMC designed for technical - economical analyses of equipment configuration options. Using equipment reliability and maintainability distributions, scheduled maintenance policies, CAPEX and O&M cost profiles, this tool allows you to make technical - economical analyses of different equipment configuration, O&M and vendor options, through the generation of plant performance, service quality and cost indicators. RAMSIM Components is a tool developed by TMC designed to model and simulate equipment failure and repair behavior based on the reliability and maintainability functions of its components. One of the most outstanding applications of this tool is the ability to support the evaluation and selection of equipment configuration schemes (main equipment + driver).
