4 IMI Diploma Programmes IMI Diplomas are at the heart of the IMI MoB Framework. These are typically 18 day programmes and run on a modular monthly basis (usually three classroom days per month) for approximately 6 months. Entry Requirements All IMI Diploma participants are automatically eligible to undertake the IMI MoB Journey. Participants typically have work based experience relevant to their IMI Diploma and / or a relevant academic qualification at primary degree level. A 2.1 grade average is required from your two IMI Diplomas in order to be eligible for the Business Research Project or 3rd Diploma. The MSc In Business Practice Pathway requires you to complete two IMI Diplomas, followed by the Business Research Project. This pathway provides the opportunity for you to develop deep insight and expertise in relation to a specific issue that is of significance to your organisation. The MBS in Business Practice Pathway requires you to complete three IMI Diplomas and a Reflective Integrated Assignment. The purpose of this assignment will be to integrate, prioritise and synthesize key reflections, learning and themes that have developed over the duration of your learning journey. The IMI MSc in Data Business allows participants who have completed the IMI Diploma in Data Business Part 1 with the option to complete Part 2 of Data Business and gain the specialised qualification of MSc in Data Business. 9 Financing your Master of Business is simpler, more flexible and affordable Pricing Scheme Our 2018 prices are outlined in the table below. These prices include textbooks, teaching materials, access to our Knowledge Centre, meals throughout the programme and parking at the IMI s National Management Centre. Contact our team to confirm your eligibility for the special SME fee, or to learn more about how IMI Membership can benefit your organisation. Easy Fees Payment Options In 2018 it is possible to spread payment for your MoB programme over the duration of your studies. The following options are available: Monthly Payments Pay for your IMI Diploma or BRP by monthly payments spread over the duration of the programme. There is no interest charged for choosing this payment option. Terms and conditions apply. IMI Staged Payments Pay for 60% of your programme in advance of its commencement and pay the 40% balance before the start of your fourth module. Tax Relief For Tuition Fees If you are paying for your tuition fees yourself, it is now possible to apply to the Revenue Commissioners for tax relief for an IMI programme. The amount of relief available varies from person to person, and may be as high as 1,400. Tax relief is allowable per programme, per participant, per academic year. Relief will not be available for any part of tuition fees which are met directly, or indirectly, by grants, scholarships, employer payments etc. Please see for further information on how to apply for this relief. The duration of the RIA is 2 months after the initial workshop.
