PolarXP became the first and the largest cold chain logistics company to service food producers and sellers with a proper organizational structure to assist the customers storage, transportation and logistics needs. PolarXP delivers frozen, cold, cool and ambient food cargo to all 81 cities of Turkey at the right temperature level and with no limitation on the size, number and volume of the cargo. PolarXP has 16 hygene certified warehouses where it stores food products that requires special frozen, cold, cool and ambient environments and provides its customers cost effective storage solutions. PolarXP provides global freight management and transportation services for frozen, cold, cool and ambient food products. Whereever the cargo is PolarXP is capable to collect, transport and deliver the cargo to its final destination under the required temperature level. PolarXP has created the only logistics platform for companies producing and selling temperature controlled food products to reach out to their final customers, thus increase their sales. PolarXP controls the largest resource of temperature controlled warehouses in Turkey. With 16 warehouses in 14 cities, PolarXP manages sqm of base warehouse space for temperature controlled storage with a capacity of pallets or m3 s. Chain stores can establish a cold chain logistics system by using the PolarXP storage and distribution infrastructure. With this system, in which the PolarXP IT system works and is directly unified with the chain store information system, stores' orders go through the PolarXP platform, where they are made ready within a day and sent for direct delivery to stores. All the heavy lifting and standards compliance operations of the business is thus done in PolarXP's warehouse, and stores can accept the delivery of goods with the least harm and in the fastest way possible. 20

Regardless wheter the stock is in bulk or palletized, PolarXP will accept the shipment in the warehouse. Next, the load will be sorted by delivery address and included in the following shipment with other customer' goods. The customer is liable to pay only for the space occupied by their load in each truck. Needless to mention, this service saves money and ensures safe and timely delivery. 21

22 CORE SOLUTIONS / MICRO DISTRIBUTION POLARXP has a Micro Distribution system that can cover %65 of the mom and pop stores in Turkey. As of 2011, PolarXP offers micro-distribution services in 16 cities where it owns PolarXP warehouses. This number goes up to 35 cities with the ones adjacent to these cities. Micro-distribution is for tradional trade accounts such as Gas stations, mini markets and small grocery shops. This system excludes distributors, organized trade channels of international and local chain stores. 22

Netlog's Return Logistics team Works in cooperation with PolarXP team to matterialise reverse logistics in cold chain as well. Netlog is the infrastructure that caters to CHEP, the largest company in Turkey that depends on return logistics. Netlog, with a dedicated fleed to 100 vehicles and trained professionals, collects all returned goods of CHEP and other top food companies in Turkey. Collected returned goods are kept in special warehouses and get the treatment of 2nd or 3rd degree quality. These products are either destroyed or replenished to be offered for sale again. 23

Collecting all the services required for cold food chain supply management under one roof, PolarXP manages the entire process of a product that has emerged from the production line, until it reaches its eventual customer, wherever it may be in Turkey or worldwide. PolarXP, which also offers various sales and performance reports to companies' managements, possesses one of the most formidable information systems in the logistics sector. 25

27 W/H TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEMS Shipment admission begins when the vehicle is on dock at our warehouses and the doors are opened. First the temperature control of the shipment in the vehicle is carried out with a laser temperature sensor and the unloadig begins if the reading is within the acceptable range. İf not, the shipment is returned to the sender. İf the temperature is out of the acceptable range but does not cause any harm to product leading to harmful consequences for human health, the shipment may be accepted with a written consent of the customer. Temperature control during transportation is a different process and handled separately. PolarXP warehouses are designed to serve both ambient and cold chain products. Every detail for each product category is carefully controlled and completed. For example, temperature of the unloading ramps is maintained at 0 degrees. Once the counting process is completed, the shipment is then transferred to the reefer section where the temperature is set at -4 degrees for about 15 minutes, In the mean time the shipment admission process is completed and the load is transferred to the storage area WMS: AXATA FLEET TRACKING SYSTEM: SATKO/EUTELTRACS FLEET TEMP TRACKING SYSTEM: ARVENTO CRM: SAP SHIPMENT TRACKING SYSTEM: NETINFO The order to ship the loads that are informed to the warehouse staff with an electronic message. The first step is their admission into intermediary warehouses according to their required temperature. Next the unit control is carried out before loading into the pretemperaturised trucks. This is managed by the ramp controllers who ensure that the temperature inside the vehicle which will take the load is within the acceptable range. 27

28 WAREHOUSE INFRASTRUCTURE PolarXP provides services at 4 different temperature categories. Food products logistics specialist PolarXP thrives for proper handling of all shipments and the integrity of all products at all times. As there are temperature differences in ambient, chilled and frozen warehousing, and certain product groups require special care to prevent bacteria, our food engineers ensure highest level of hygene standards in all our warehouses at all times. 28

Empowered by its young and green fleet, Polar XP also stands out in the industry with its multi temperature and multi section truck services. Cold and ambient Cargo are handled by the same trailer leading to cost effectiveness and creating further advantages for customers. Polar XP understands the importance of and continuously invests in cost optimisation. On time delivery and continuous availability are essential. To manage seasonal demand increase, dedicated sub-contracted fleets are deployed and on-time delivery and promised duration are maintained throughout the year. 29

SAP Finance, Microsoft Dynamics as well as many other softwares are integrated to the ERP to manage the complex NETLOG solutions. Information Security NETLOG continuously works on its network safety and information security procedures. NETLOG not only has to make sure that the information is not breeched by outsiders but also needs to make sure that the business will continue with out a stop incase of a fire in one of its server rooms or virus attack.
