1 Environmental Report - Status Week Ending: Thur 12 h May2006 Generated By: Siobhan Quinn/Mairtin Naughton/Sandra Barber Checked By: Leslie Finnegan 1 Monitoring Data 1.1 Monitoring Equipment Axonics System running in automatic mode for the reporting period System now fully housed Discharges occurred to discharge lagoon Flow Weirs Flow weirs installed and running o Telemetry problem resolved, technician was on site and set up the system. PO 4 The PO 4 analyser is not working because of the power supply problem A composite sampler was deployed to collect daily samples for analysis. Site visit by manufacturers technician organised for this week. Sondes Replacement sonde for MP1 arrived, programmed and deployed. DO meter The handheld DO meter was repaired and returned and is now fully functional. 1.2 Rainfall Data 28/04/ /05/ /04/ /05/ /04/ /05/ /05/ /05/ /05/ /05/ /05/ /05/ /05/ /05/ /05/ Total Rainfall = 61.0 mm

2 Environmental Report - Status Week Ending: Thur 12 h May2006 Generated By: Siobhan Quinn/Mairtin Naughton/Sandra Barber Checked By: Leslie Finnegan 1.3 Summary Environment Surface Water Groundwater Dust Weather Comments There were no exceedances of set limits for grab samples taken on site during the reporting period based on results currently available. All in-situ monitoring equipment was within limits, where results were out of range, and were not corroborated by site or lab data, explanations are given below or on the appropriate graphs At D62 for the first part of the reporting period: high readings for conductivity and ph were recorded low dissolved oxygen readings were recorded. These readings are probably due to a reduced flow rate and a build up of material within the sonde housing. The sonde was raised in the water level and the concentrations reverted back to anticipated levels. The sonde data downloaded is shown graphically and is representative of concentrations normally recorded. The sonde at MP6 was removed due to erratic ph readings and recalibrated. MP1 sonde is now fully operational. Awaiting dust results from the Lab There was a total of 61mm of rainfall during the reporting period, with a temperature range of 4.58 to O C. All monitoring data is presented in tabular form, see attached. The sonde and TSS data is presented graphically. All Site data should be considered indicative only. 2 Environmental Incidents/Near misses/complaints There were no incidents on site during the reporting period. and Time Location Nature of Incident Actions Taken Category Status
