The SCM project managers will ensure that all necessary approvals have been secured before an order for a software object is released to the Development Factory. The SCM project team will perform unit, integration and acceptance tests of the software objects to ensure that their function matches with the corresponding specifications.

6 Role of the Development Factory SCM Project Specifications Unit Tested Software Development Factory Role The development factory s role is to reliably produce high quality software objects that strictly comply with written specifications. The factory is also responsible for producing the software within specified time and budget constraints. The factory manager will ensure that all SCM Project Standards are applied to the work effort and will report progress and issues on a weekly basis to the SCM project managers.
