4 SECTION 2 HOW SPOTLIGHT WORKS SPOTLIGHT PROCESS Spotlight follows the same simple process each time, so you can be sure of a consistent approach to help manage your business timelines. Instruction You complete a simple Spotlight instruction sheet (containing basic contract information) and submit this together with an electronic version of the contract to Spotlight via spotlight@shoosmiths.co.uk. Acknowledgement We will acknowledge receipt of your instruction by and confirm costs and turnaround time. Contract Review We will analyse the contract and provide a Spotlight report detailing the features adjacent (see Report Features) within 2 working days. Contract Amendment (OPTIONAL) If you require, we will amend the contract in line with the recommendations in the Spotlight report. Contract Negotiation (OPTIONAL) If you require, we will negotiate the contract, which includes reviewing the other side s mark-up, liaising directly with your business to obtain instructions and producing a further mark-up. Contract Sign-Off (OPTIONAL) If you require, once negotiations are concluded we can produce a final agreed contract for sign-off in line with your internal governance process. 24/7 Online Storage (OPTIONAL) Once the contract is finalised, it can be stored together with the accompanying Spotlight report on our online storage portal which is accessible by your business 24/7.
