4 CONFIDENTIEL Introduction Definition: PLM is defined as a strategic approach aiming PDM to put in place appropriate processes. PLM applies between enterprises involved ERP in the Enterprise different Ressource phases Planning of the life cycle of manufactured products and its components. [CIMDATA] MES Industrial context: PLM approach Product Data Management Manufacturing Execution System When working in a collaborative way, interoperability is needed between PLM applications. PLM interoperability relies on the use of standards which are considered as enablers face to interoperability barriers.
5 Introduction Research context: SIP project Standard Interoperability PLM (SIP) is a project launched within the frame of IRT- SystemX and Airbus group led by doctor Nicolas Figay Goal: Help enterprises to implement PLM standards by developing an innovative interoperability framework for the validation and evaluation of PLM standards and their implementations by means of a «test bed». Provide a model driven methodology for the development of a PLM standards assessment. 5
6 Adressed issues Reasons of PLM standards modeling How the models can be reused to specify and simulate collaborative scenarios based on the standards modeling Modelling a data exchange scenario based on PLM standards studied 6
7 State of the art Existing modelling frameworks for Enterprise Architecture Standards for PLM interoperability Zachman [Zachman J, 2003] CIMOSA [Kosanke K, Vernadat F, 1999] TOGAF [TOGAF V 9.1] Archimate language [Lankorst MM, 2004] STEP (design) SCOR (supply chain) ISA 95 (manufacturing): Standard for enterprise control system integration 7
