Updating EDQ Contact Information Item & UPC Maintenance Quick Tips In order to make updates to existing Items and UPCs, a maintenance request must be submitted via the EDQ Vendor Portal. Once submitted, all maintenance requests are reviewed by the internal Toys R Us teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency is maintained in the EDQ Item Catalog. Below are 5 Maintenance Quick Tips that will assist you in actioning and submitting your Item and UPC maintenance requests in the EDQ Vendor Portal. 1. An Item and/or UPC is eligible for maintenance if: a. The RUS Item Number (a.k.a SKN) has been assigned to the Item. If the SKN number has not yet been assigned, the Item s status will be listed as Ready for Purchase No. b. The Item/UPC is not currently in an internal Pending Maintenance Review queue. 2. When searching for your product to begin the maintenance process, you may search using the following Item or UPC level criteria.

3 Item Level: EDQ ID # RUS Item Number (SKN) Manufacturer s Style Number Full Product Description NOTE: Searches using one of the above criteria will enable you to submit maintenance requests affecting your Item and/or UPCs. *Maintenance requests to add or disable a UPC must be done by searching at the Item level. UPC/UID Level: UID # UPC Number NOTE: Searches using one of the above criteria will enable you to submit maintenance requests affecting your UPC/UID only. 3. When viewing UPC/UID level information in the Multi-Edit View, you may drag the window-shades up and down to view more information on your screen. 4. You must click the orange Submit for Maintenance button at the bottom of the screen to submit your maintenance updates to the Toys R Us teams for review. Information input in the Submitted column will not be automatically submitted for review the Submit for Maintenance button

4 must be clicked to initiate the product into the internal Maintenance Review queues. 5. Once you have submitted your Item and/or UPC maintenance request, you have the ability to track the maintenance request by using the Track Maintenance Request widget. (Be sure to click on the 3 person icon to view all items associated with your vendor group.) Once the Item and/or UPC/UID is no longer in any of the queues, then it is no longer in an internal pending maintenance review queue. Toys R Us Content Policy - Personalization/Warranty/Add Ons Background: The Toys R Us Personalized Shop has a limited offering of items that can be customized. These items are only available via drop ship and are unique in that the word "Personalized" always appears first in the Online Title and they will have a "Personalize

5 & Add to Cart" button on the product detail page. To avoid customer confusion, vendor offerings of personalization, warranties and any addons must be clearly stated within the Online Long Description or as a stand-alone product feature. Policy: Customization, personalization, supplemental warrantees, services, or add-on s offered by the vendor/manufacturer must clearly state that they are provided by the VENDOR, and NOT by Toys R Us. Add-ons can include: warrantees, guarantees, rebates, coupon vouchers, accessories, repairs, etc. To limit customer confusion, it is recommended that the vendor-provided add-on include manufacturer or the specific manufacturer/brand name in the Online Long Description or product feature. It should be clear to the customer that additional steps must be taken outside of Toys R Us to obtain these add-ons. Examples: Send for a personalized name plaque from the manufacturer to turn your baby's crib into a treasured keepsake. Comes with lifetime manufacturer warranty.
