9 Technology Overview Communication between the SupplyPro system and the SupplyPort website is accomplished by transferring data in the form of messages using a TCP/IP connection. The connection is established by the SupplyPro system to the SupplyPort web server. All SupplyPro system communications occur via HTTP(S) over port 80 or 443. All communications are initiated by the SupplyPro system (i.e. behind the firewall) to a fixed set of IP addresses within SupplyPro s data center. 11 Service and Support SupplyPro Customer Service and Support A highly trained field engineering staff is located throughout the country to provide on-site system support when required. No-cost hardware / software Certification classes are available in our Cincinnati, OH service center. SupplyPro also provides a national network of over 400 service technicians located throughout North America to ensure timely on-site response to any service related issue at your location. SupplyPro is committed to keeping systems operational and functioning to meet our customers needs. The SupplyPro Service Centers provide live phone support during the hours of 3am to 8pm Eastern Standard Time, excluding weekends and holidays. After hours support is available for business critical emergencies through a voice mail paging system. Messages left in the service center after hours will automatically page a service center representative. This emergency support system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The SupplyPro Service Center will determine if a problem requires a dispatch to the customer site, however in many cases software issues can be diagnosed and fixed via remote access based on our Web-based model vs. requiring local IT site resources to be involved. 12 Frequently Asked Questions Does every space in the SupplyBay have to be filled with Applied MSS SM products? Up to 15% of capacity would be available for items from other suppliers. Will products have trouble vending properly? The SupplyBay vend accuracy rate is 99%. SupplyPro can test and verify any products not properly dispensing. Who will restock my machine? Applied MSS sales professionals will replenish stock. Who installs the machines? Machine installation, setup and training are all performed by members of the Applied MSS vending team. Who maintains the machines? All machines come with a 1 year warranty for parts and a 90-day warranty on labor. An extended parts warranty is available for purchase at the time of contract signing, but labor charges are not included. Certification programs are available, which would allow your maintenance personnel to perform their own repairs (talk to Applied MSS sales professional for more details). What if I need support for the machine? Training includes pre-install software training, installation event hardware and software training for administrators and end-users. Train-the-trainer is available where required (three-shift environment, for example). Post-install refresher training is provided via go-to-meeting two weeks following install. Training is provided ongoing per customer requirements as users generate questions or new users come on line. Call Center support with two national service centers provide unlimited access for support. What is the energy consumption of the machines? A 110V outlet is required, yearly energy consumption is less than 1100 KWHR per year. What type of data connection is required? A TCP/IP connection is required. Cellular is available as an option. Can I lock out contractors from the system, even though they have a standard company badge? Yes. These individuals can have limited or no access to the machines. Some clients give access to contractors for a pre-defined amount of time and their access will automatically expire at contract end. You can show usage by contractor for billing purposes. Can I have different permissions and access rights assigned to my contractors? Yes. Unlimited variation based on client requirements. Our production has expanded and more product is needed. Now what?
