Uses: 100% Acrylic TIQUE Finish may be applied over cementitious or non-cementitious base coats, prepared concrete, masonry, prepared drywall, prepared painted surfaces, EIFS synthetic stucco system or Hard coat stucco. 2 TIQUE Acrylic FINISH TIQUE Acrylic FINISH Interior/exterior Acrylic Finish Surface Preparation: Surface must be clean and free of bond-inhibiting materials such as dirt, rust, grease, oil, efflorescence, mildew, fungus, form-release agents, or any other contaminants. Remove and repair any loose paint, motor, stucco, concrete or masonry by water blasting, sand blasting, scraping or using a wire brush. Repair all cracks with approved patching compound. If applying over a painted surface, test paint to make sure it is load bearing. Mixing: Mix with a drill mixer for 1 minute at rpm. To ensure proper dispersing of texturing aggregates. A small amount (up to 16 oz.) of potable water may be added to 5 gallons of Tique Finish Coat to enhance the workability. Avoid over mixing or air entering the finish. Application: Tique Finish may be applied with a stainless steel trowel or approved spray equipment. Apply Tique Finish Coat in a continuous application, floated with a hard plastic float using a figure 8 pattern. Detail bands and shapes may be finished with a lightly dampened sponge float. Avoid excess water drops or runs on freshly applied finish. Curing/Drying: The First coat takes an average of 4 hours depending on the ambient temperature, humidity, and film thickness. Tique Finish Coat will completely cure in hours. During the cure time the finish must be protected from adverse weather conditions and from potential abuse from other trades. Limitations: Limitations: TIQUE should be applied when surface and ambient conditions are between 45 0 F and F and should be protected from rain for a minimum of 24 hours.
