Compared to a conventional system it not only offers economical benefits but also significant technical advantages: User-friendly software With the newly developed Akatherm Sison software an optimal hydraulic layout of the total system can be easily achieved. Isometric pipesystem - Reduced pipe dimensions as a result of complete filling of the pipe The result of the calculation is a pipesystem presented in an isometric drawing. The hydraulic report consists of the occurring negative pressures, velocities and necessary diameters. 3 SISON SIPHONIC ROOF A roof outlet for every roof Safe fixing system The heart of the siphonic roof drainage system is the roof outlet. As soon as the system works under negative pressure the roof outlet streamlines the flow while preventing air getting into the system. 4 DRAINAGE The ideal pipesystem The smooth inner walls, impact resistance, flexibility and light weight make Akatherm PE ideal for siphonic roof drainage systems. The wide Akatherm range in the different diameters guarantees an optimal dimensioning of the system. For connecting Akatherm pipes and fittings, one can choose from a number of sophisticated jointing techniques, depending on application. Buttwelding Buttwelding is suitable for prefabricating pipe sections and can be applied to all Akatherm pipes and fittings. Push-fit joints In the Akatherm Sison siphonic roof drainage system all push-fit joints are made with the Akatherm snap sockets. By making a snap groove in the pipe or fitting a rapid and pulltight joint can be made. Electrofusion Electrofusion, the most simple and rapid jointing technique, is mainly used on construction sites for a highly efficient method of assembly for pipes, fittings and prefabricated sections. The universal control box CB 315 and the injection moulded range of electrofusion couplers 40 to 315 mm guarantee a high quality joint. Installation of downpipe
