Construction Activities: 1) General: a) Mobilize Start Date Sept. 12 to Sept. 26, Section Electrical Installation of Major Substation Equipment, Item 2.4-A: Revise as follows: A. All suspension insulators inside of the substation and some of the hardware shall be reused per the Drawings. Contractor shall replace any broken or damage suspension insulators and hardware at Contractor s expense. 4. Section Electrical Installation of Major Substation Equipment, Item 2.4-B: Revise as follows: B. Install instrument transformers on the existing structure in accordance with the Drawings and the following instructions. To avoid phase-to-ground clearances between the new CTs and PTs, three new steel plates will cover and be bolted to the existing mounting plates that are welded to the structure. Three new CT risers will be bolted to these plates. The PTs will need new mounting bolts and the Contracor shall drill new holes into the existing plates. The new steel plates and risers will be provided by others. See Appendix D - Reference Pictures to view the existing installation. 5. Appendix A - Bill of : Updated to include Items 409 through 412.
