4 Why use compact distribution boards from Eaton? The second generation of the successful KLV compact distribution board series provides even more flexibility. The new members of the product family are the new flush-mounted and hollow-wall distribution boards which come equipped with expandable KSK combined plug-type terminals as a standard feature. Additional cable holders ensure neat wiring. The stable device cover offers optimal protection for the user, which is especially important with the large 4-row version. The highlight is the new 3D plaster compensation: apart from compensational corrections in X and Y direction, it also provides for additional depth compensation of up to 18 mm over the entire door frame. This way it is For a safe and neat wiring possible to level out the most varied types of wall surfaces in a time-saving manner - with an off-theshelf product and without the need for any additional parts. Another special feature is the version with the unrivalled, superflat door-frame design which makes the compact installation distribution board almost invisible. And the new offering is completed by integrated marking slots in the wall pan, a spirit level for fast alignment, 90 quickacting closures at the device cover and many new accessories which optionally add even more value. 7 Flat or SuperFlat door frame design which makes the KLV compact distribution board almost invisible F SF 9 mm 3 mm With its unrivalled SuperFlat (SF) door frame design of a height of only 3 mm, the KLV compact distribution board integrates in an even more discreet and nearly invisible way into the setting of a home than its big flat brother (F) which has a frame height of 9 mm. 8 Excellent accessibility - also for retrofi tting Insertion of cables can be done at the top or bottom through easy-to-open holes in the flange slides. The size of the holes can be individually determined. Cable tie wraps can be used to arrest incoming and outgoing cables at the integrated cable strain relief rail before aligning and definitely fixing them. Excellent accessibility also for retrofitting! Easy and well-thought-out! The maintenance-free DIN carrier rack is extremely torsionresistant and stable thanks to its riveting, because screwed connections might get loose. But the rack can still be undone if necessary. Part of the delivery box can be cut out and used as a plaster protection for the distribution board while the plaster work is done on the surrounding walls. 10 Strategic 3D alignment With the 3D plaster compensation allowing compensational corrections in X and Y direction it is also possible to accomplish a compensation of up to 18 mm in depth. Therefore it is possible to compensate offsets in a timesaving way on all kinds of wall surfaces. 11 KLV multi-media distribution boards The second generation of the KLV compact distribution board series now has a new family member the multi-media distribution board. Equipped with the same enclosure advantages as the energy KLV distribution board, the multi-media distribution board meets the requirements of the new IEC/ EN directive for multi-media applications in GP standard. Its highquality basic equipment includes a carrier rail for patch modules, a microperforated mounting plate, device holders and a double power-socket, and it is completed by connection brackets for interlinking the wall pans in pairs. KLV multi-media distribution boards are available in a normal-flat (F) as well as in an unrivalled super-flat (SF) version. The doors come with ventilation systems for improved heat exchange. Like the energy distribution board, the multi-media KLV compact distribution board also includes the 3D plaster compensation in its standard scope of delivery. 12 Projects - form of delivery The second generation of the KLV compact distribution board series is also offered in a new project delivery form 4PR, which includes both the one-level and the two-level package. While the one-level package represents the standard configuration including the wall pan, the two-level package optionally includes the doors/frames in the required RAL colour or with ventilation slots.
