Ensure all cables are clear and long enough for the job Ensure clear line of sight at any time the truss moves Use only approved connectors and cable, suitable for the requirement. Where a tail-in is required, this must be carried out by a licensed, in-house electrician Use only approved connectors and cable, suitable for the requirement. Do not overload dimmer circuits Where practical, use boomlift to access equipment. Personnel must wear appropriate harness. Minimum ladder to be used

Making sure ground support secure with industry standard weight bags methods to attach safety wires to pre-existing venue ceiling rigging to secure the Truss and Set. Using industry standard rigging methods attach Equipment to truss and ensure safety by using Safety wires from equipment to truss and venue rigging.

Personnel must wear appropriate harness when in boom lift. Using Qualified Audio and Lighting Technicians with experience to Setup, Check and Operate equipment from Setup through to pack down Wet weather cable isolation Electrocution Use electrical tape to weather proof and seal all cable connections where ever outdoors All personnel required to work during Event need to have rest and sleep prior to Operation Smoke isolation for the Event. Mental and Health problems due to overworking, long hours and minimal sleep Incorrect isolation may cause the Fire alarms to activate resulting in Accommodation and sleeping quarters need to be supplied for industry standard down time in or close to the venue Venue Staff need to ensure that Smoke isolation has been carried out as per industry standard and
5 All personnel required to work during an Event need to work free from Alcohol and Drugs in their system Marking of Floor mounted stands ( Audio, Lighting, Vision, Rigging ) Marking of Floor mounted Stages and Stairs ( Audio, Lighting, Vision, Rigging ) Use of Scissor lifts and Boom lifters indoors/outdoors PPE ( Personal Protective Equipment ) water and evacuation Performance and decision making is impaired and may lead to accidents and injury Incorrect or no marking around perimeter of structure may result in a trip hazard and injury Incorrect or failure to mark perimeter of structure may result in a fall hazard and injury Heavy moving equipment may cause serious injury and property damage Incorrect PPE or Failure to wear appropriate PPE may cause injury regulations. Staff to monitor each other and inform supervisors if they believe a staff member is under the influence so that impaired staff member must be assessed and escorted from the premises immediately without pay Ensure hazard tape or bright coloured tape marked around base of structures must be clear and have high visibility Ensure hazard tape or bright coloured tape marked on and around perimeter of structures must be clear for high visibility Drivers of vehicular and elevated platform equipment must be licensed and environmentally aware using signals and instruction where required for safety Wear industry standard PPE work wear to ensure OHS policy
