We also provide a wide range of internal/external corrosion and abrasion protection for pipe, fittings, risers and fabricated steel in quantities from one to thousands. The L.B. Foster Ball Winch, Inc. plant coats unique steel products of most sizes and pipe ranging from 1/2 through 94 with FBE, liquid epoxy and other protective coatings. Our coated products are in use on major projects worldwide where quality coating is critical. The L.B. 4 L.B. FOSTER PIPE COATINGS Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating (FBE) L.B. Foster applies Fusion-Bonded Epoxy (FBE) coatings that exceed all industry pipe coating standards. This protective coating is a onepart, heat curable, thermosetting epoxy powder designed for corrosion protection of pipe. FBE coated pipe is in service worldwide. Abrasion Resistant Overcoating (ARO) L.B. Foster can provide additional protection to FBE coated pipe with the application of Abrasion Resistant Overcoating (ARO). This durable 2-Layer system is ideal for tough installations, such as directional drilling and exposed river crossings. TRIPLUS PE and TRIPLUS PP L.B. Foster s tough TRIPLUS 3-layer protective coatings can be applied to risers and main line pipe ranging in diameters from 2 through 48. These innovative systems begin with a layer of Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) to provide excellent adhesion to steel. This initial coating is followed by multi-layers of Polyethylene, which can then be built up to customer specifications. TRIPLUS provides high mechanical resistance and protection throughout all stages of the coating lifecycle from handling and transportation to laying and in-service use.

5 L.B. FOSTER SPECIALTY PIPE COATINGS Internal Lining (ID) ID Pipeline Flowliner is a field-proven internal lining that increases the efficiency of flow over long stretches of oil and gas lines. This durable lining also provides an excellent anti-corrosion protection on pipe while both in storage and during installation. Concrete Coating L.B. Foster applies concrete to pipelines to provide a negative buoyancy and prevent the pipe from floating in high water table terrain, such as swamp land. Pipe with a concrete coating is used offshore as well as on river crossings. The concrete also provides protection for the pipe as well as negative buoyancy. Liquid Epoxy Coatings L.B. Foster utilizes innovative plural component liquid spray equipment to apply liquid epoxy coatings to pipe, fittings and bends. n Standard service temperature resistance (up to 185 F) n Service temperatures up to 250 F (121 C) n High-build (up to 50 mils in one coat) n Excellent adhesion (compliments FBE coated pipe) n High abrasion resistance for Drilling applications n Safe and environmentally friendly n Does not shield Cathodic Protection n Sacrificial coating for directional drill and road bore pipe Ball Winch

6 L.B. FOSTER PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES The L.B. Foster Ball Winch plant can apply protective coatings to 1/2 through 94 diameter pipe and fabricated products. Our pipe handling equipment has a lift capacity up to 30,000 lbs. L.B.
