THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE LOCATION, SIZE, AND TYPE OF ALL EXISTING UTILITIES PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION AND NOTIFY THE ENGINEER OF ANY CONFLICTS OF DISCREPANCIES. 2. HYDROSTATIC TESTING IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE MWSB IS REQUIRED AND SHALL BE CONDUCTED INDEPENDENT LAB, AS SUBCONTRACTED THE CONTRACTOR. THE MUNICIPAL ENGINEER SHALL BE NOTIFIED 48 HRS IN ADVANCE OF WHEN THE TESTING WILL OCCUR. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING ALL WATER REQUIRED FOR THE TESTING. LINES SHALL BE SWABBED PRIOR TO TESTING. THE PRESSURE TEST SHALL BE CONDUCTED AT 700 KPa. CLEANOUT ASSEMBLIES CLEAN OUT ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE INSTALLED ON MAINS AT INTERVALS NOT EXCEEDING m UNLESS (A) AT TERMINUS OF MAIN, OR (B) AS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED ON DESIGN DRAWINGS. CLEAN OUTS, WHEN LOCATED ON A BRANCH LINE, SHALL INCLUDE: A. A TEE ON THE MAIN SERVICE LINE B. A GATE VALVE ON THE BRANCH LINE, 600 mm FROM THE MAIN SERVICE LINE C. TYPICALLY, 4500 L (1000 GAL) IS THE REQUIRED SIZE FOR RESIDENTIAL HOMES. 2. WHERE A NEW TANK IS BEING INSTALLED, THE TANK SHALL BE LOWERED ONTO A MINIMUM OF 100 mm THICK OF 25 mm Ø COMPACTED CLEAN STONE. CLEAN STONE SHALL BE PLACED AROUND THE TANK. WHERE THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS DIFFER FROM THIS SPECIFICATION, THE MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS SHALL PREVAIL. 3. THE INLET PIPE AND OUTLET PIPE SHALL BE CONNECTED USING A FLEXIBLE, WATERPROOF GASKET OR BOOT. THE INLET AND OUTLET PIPES SHALL BE PLACED ON COMPACTED BEDDING MATERIAL. 4.
