7 OUR CUSTOM-BUILT FACTORY CURRENTLY 64% COMPLETE Train manufacturing site and supplier park Main components: Rail, roads and civils infrastructure Architecture and building services: car body shell building fitting and warehouse building filming building fitting and coupling building static testing lines two coupling line, five testing lines and one repair line dynamic test track: 1 250m long central complex (administration) training centre Electrical supply, overhead line/ underground cable options, reticulation and substation At peak, 62 trains will be built per year All Gibela employees will be working from Dunnottar from January 2018 Ekurhuleni, South Africa's train-building heartland - the role of women in making it happen 7
8 OUR FACTORY CONSTRUCTION PARTNERSHIP WITH TRENCON/ BLACK JILLS Gibela awarded main building contract in 2016 to Joint Venture comprising: Trencon Construction Black Jills Engineers JV was awarded following competitive bidding process Seven building contractors with CIDB grading 8GB or higher Basis of adjudication technical expertise and extensive industry experience empowerment credentials contribution to economic development price R400 million Gibela contract was awarded to Trencon/Black Jills JV Previous Trencon/Black Jills collaboration: Lillian Ngoyi Monument, Pretoria Ekurhuleni, South Africa's train-building heartland - the role of women in making it happen 8
