The Kent Frankfurt Bin is a 75 litre, pole mounted stainless steel litter bin. It is manufactured from Grade 316L Stainless Steel and comes with integrated ashtray. It also features a convex top for water run-off. In order to assist the emptying of the bin, a gas ram is incorporated into the design. The bollard post can be made to match other bollard designs on the same project in terms of diameter, cap design & finish. This bin lends itself well to incorporate words, logos and symbols on the door. 3mm thick Stainless Steel Convex Top

4 Installation of Litter bins: Remove pavoirs and bedding to reveal the concrete surface below, or excavate a hole to minimum dimensions of L600 x W600 x D400mm. The size of the foundation may vary depending on the ground conditions. Foundations must be to Engineer s specification. Fill the hole with 35N Concrete up to level either with Finished Ground Level, or to subsurface of paved area. When concrete is set, place the base plate in the desired location and mark through the fixing holes. Bin can be secured with M12 x 100 stainless rawl bolts. Choose security head bolts if desired If fixing to a finished surface of well laid small block paviours (typicvally 60mm deep) we recommend M12 x 180 stainless rawl bolts. This option will work also for bins fixed to bitumous macadam laid on top of well laid concrete. Lift the bin into place and tighten it to the base plate.

6 Overview The Kent Frankfurt Bin is a 75w litre, pole mounted stainless steel litter bin. It is manufactured from Grade 316L Stainless Steel and comes with integrated ashtray. This bin lends itself well to incorporate words, logos and symbols on the door. Maintenance Stainless Steel: Clean the stainless steel components using warm water with a mild detergent with a non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Heavier stains may require the use of a nylon-scouring pad or a stainless steel cleaner. To remove paint or graffiti use a cloth and Alkaline or solvent paint strippers according to type of paint. In the case of a bead blasted finish, where abrasive cleaning is required, always use a random circular rubbing action with a cloth. In the case of brushed finishes the surface consists of uniform fine scratches running in one direction so where abrasive cleaning is required always use a straight back and forward rubbing action in the direction of the grain using soap and warm water. Rust spots or tea stains can occur on the surface of the material, these are normally caused by contamination from ordinary mild steel, particulary inareas where construction work has been undertaken. Such stains can be removed using Rust Remover 410. In cases where the surface is severely stained because of severe environmental conditions or scratched due to misuse, it may still be possible to restore the original finishusing chemicals such as Oxalic Acid solution. There are many stainless steel polishes available to enhance the surface finish. We recommend Mister Stainless Ltd. as a provider for stainlees steel cleaning products.
