1 CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI Environmental Review & Preservation Board Regular Meeting Minutes Tuesday, February 3, 2015 City Commission Chambers 8:30 AM City of South Miami Ordinance No requires all lobbyists before engaging in any lobbying activities to register with the City Clerk and pay an annual fee of $500 per Ordinance No This applies to all persons who are retained (whether paid or not) to represent a business entity or organization to influence City action. City action is broadly described to include the ranking and selection of professional consultants, and virtually all-legislative, quasi-judicial and administrative action. I. Call to Order Action: Mr. Montana called the meeting to order at 8:34A.M II. III. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag Roll Call Board Members present constituting a quorum: Mr. Montana, Ms. Schwartz, Mr. Gil, Ms. Chael, Mr. Corral, Mr. Suarez-Marill, Ms. Kelly, Ms. Yanoshik, and Mr. Morales. Board Members absent None City staff present: Ms. Shari Kamali (Assistant City Manager), Ms. Lourdes Cabrera (Senior Planner and Zoning Administrator), Marcus Lightfoot (Zoning Review Coordinator) IV. Requests are as follows: [Note: following the presentation of a case the Board Chair will open public comment on the item to interested parties] --- Quasi- Judicial Warning: The following matter is considered to be quasi-judicial and you may not have any ex parte communication, whether verbal or in writing, with anyone until the quasi-judicial matter is resolved and the meeting is adjourned. Motion: Mr. Morales made a motion to grant final approval to the application with the condition that the discussed comments are addressed and that the approval letter from the homeowners association be submitted to zoning along with the permit application. Ms. Schwartz seconded the motion. Vote: Aye: 9; Nay: 0 (None) B) ERPB Applicant: Ikon Builders- Property Owner: Ponce Davis, LLC - Location: 5990 SW 80 Street- Request: New Const. 1-story - Final- Request: New Construction - Final Mr. Corral recused himself from the dais. Applicant's Present: John Kovacs and Mariano Corral Mr. Lightfoot read the item into the record. The Board reviewed the revised plans for the project. Motion: Mr. Morales made a motion to defer the application with the following conditions: 1. The massing and height of the house should be looked at; 2.
