1 Right To Information Act 2005 Contact Public Information Officer RTI Portal (rti.india.gov.in) Mandatory disclosures under Clause 4(1)(b) of the Right to Information Act, 2005: (i) The particulars of its organization, FCRI is an Autonomous Research & functions and duties; Development Organisation (Registered Society) under the Administrative Control of Departmentof Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries &Public Enterprises, Govt. of India. The main activities of FCRI : Carry out sponsored Research & Development projects for the industry / Government of India / national and international agencies. Provides facilities towards technological Developments to the flow products industries and serves as a National certifying Authority and Quality & Reliability evaluation facility. Testing/Calibration of Flow Devices such as Control Valves, Flow Meters Imparting Training for both Indian & Foreign nationals in the area of Flow measurement & control techniques Carry out various Research Projects for Defence, Oil &Gas Sector Industry, Power Sector,Shipping etc. (ii) (iii) The powers and duties of its officers and employees; The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability; As per FCRI Rules & Regulations and Delegation of Powers made by the Governing Council (FCRI) The affairs of the Institute are administered by the Governing Council constituted by the Govt. of India Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industry & Public Enterprises which is the over all controlling body of the institute. The Governing Council consists of Chairman & Members nominated by the Government as well as representatives from leading academic

A statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public. A directory of its officers and employees; The monthly remuneration received by each of its officers and employees, including the system of compensation as provided in its regulations; The budget allocated to each of its agency, indicating the particulars of all plans, proposed expenditures and reports on disbursements made; The manner of execution of subsidy programmes, including the amounts Institutions. The activities of the Institute are administered, directed and controlled in accordance with the Rules & Regulations of the Institute. The following are the authorities of the Institute: Governing Council (Annexure B) Chairman of the Governing Council Director As per FCRI Rules & Regulations, Orders ofthe Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises Government of India and directions of the Governing Council (FCRI) FCRI has formulated the rules for conduct of business in the organization. Major guiding documents are listed below : Memorandum of Association Staff Rules FCRI Gratuity Rules FCRI CPF Rules Purchase policy The Organisation holds the technical and quality documents regarding the business operations of the organization. Policies/objectives of an organization are decided by Governing Council in consultation with Govt of India, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises.. Governing Council is the highest policy making body of the Institute and the decision taken by the GC subject to Govt. approval are implemented for functioning administration of the activities of the Institutes. Meetings of the Council are neither open to public nor the minutes are accessible to public. Directory of officers and employeesis attached- Annexure A. Ref : Annexure A Other allowances/benefits are as per Staff Rules/Orders of the Director, Governing Council (FCRI) Non Plan Budget is approved by Governing Council (FCRI), Five Year Plan Grants-in aid are released by Government of India. Not applicable as there are no subsidy programmes undertaken by the Institute.
